We stayed at Westcourt Farm based on a recommendation from someone else. From the minute we arrived our experience was sensational. Julie was warm, welcoming, very helpful and extremely kind. She recommended places to watch rugby and eat. These were spot on. There was lambing going on and we were invited to see the lambs. We can't recommend Westcourt Farm...

Julie and Dave were fantastic hosts and they run a great Bed and Breakfast in Shorwell. If you're looking for something like a Premier Inn this isn't for you but the house and area are packed full of character and the hospitality is so much better. Breakfast was great and you get the choice from a big menu that's set...

We stayed 4 nights excellent facilities inc lovely comfortable chair & settee in our large twin room. Julie knows exactly what she is doing in looking after her guests inc local rate [I of W] ferry bookings. This is only a 3 bedroom place, but breakfast is whatever you order before bedtime. The location is very quiet but easy to...

An eclectic mix of period furniture and decoration surrounds you when you enter but it just seems to fit the charming farmhouse with its 500 year old history. Our host, Julie, was lovely and friendly. The cooked breakfast could be varied but whatever came up was cooked to perfection and there was so much of it (compared to friends who...

Isle of Wight, last visited some 60 years ago, my wife had never been on the island, so I booked a week at Westcourt Manor Farm. What a find! if you want state of the art pristine do not touch type of place, plastic and unreal, do not bother Julie and Dave. But if you want a warm, friendly, homely, down...

Stayed here for a long weekend. Shorwell was not a place I had been to before and the surrounding country-side and the pretty little village gave the feel of total tranquillity. Nearby are walking paths to explore and although we didnt use it we were told the pub The Crown Inn was a nice place to eat or have a...

We have stayed here many times when we have been able to find a vacancy. It is very popular as Julie is such a lovely host and the rooms very comfortable. The west Wight is a great place for walking and therre are several routes from the farm.

This place is in a lovely location, in the best part of the Island and on a bus route. The village of Shorwell is charming with plenty of walks. Julie is extremely welcoming, helpful and generous. The room was very comfortable with lovely bedding and an amazing wooden floor in bathroom. Very peaceful and home made cake every day!!!! Large...

We booked our stay at Westcourt through Red Funnel ferries, and are very glad we did. The house is beautiful in wonderful countryside, and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was so comfortable and the breakfasts great!

I recently visited the IOW with my Wife & my Mom, during the build up to Christmas. We had 2 rooms in the fabulous Manor House (one of the oldest on the island). This is a fantastic 'family home' where guests are treated like Kings, each of the rooms are en-suite and have all the facilities you need, including, tv,...
