We stayed in this B&B yesterday, and from the jovial welcome to the last goodbye we could not have asked for a better experience. We have an autistic daughter, which can sometimes be a hassle when traveling, but there was no problem getting access to the kitchen so she could make toast at any time and were extremely accommodating with...

We stayed for two nights. The room was small, but comfy and very clean. Our room was at the front and we weren't disturbed by any traffic noise. Breakfast was delicious and Nick was very welcoming and friendly. We walked into the city (St Dunstan's church is on the way and worth a visit if you into history - or...

Just returned home after spending the weekend at this fabulous guest house. Was greeted by Nick ((the owner) who was very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Room was very clean and comfortable with ample tea making facilities. (Sorry forgot to mention I broke a mug when washing it up). Breakfast was served very quickly and piping...

If three seems a bit mean sorry they need apply attention to detail. Positives were the very warm welcome and the flower display outside. Room adequate for our needs. Mattress very weak/soft so not comfortable. Lovely walk in shower but lower part of door (none opening side) needs cleaning, the toilet roll holder rusty and needs replacing. Hospitality tray good,...

Welcome was fabulous, couldn't fault them even when I arrived 2 hours too early to check in. Given keys so we could come and go as we pleased, and parking permits quickly, nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Mum and I stayed as we were going to see Simply Red locally, nice stroll into town for food and...

On the whole a really nice place to stay. The owners were very welcoming, and very helpful, couldn't fault them at all. The rooms were not that big, but large enough for a nights stay. They were nicely decorated and it was very, very clean. The bathroom was the same, again couldn't fault the cleanliness at all. Breakfast was served...

For the price we paid it was good value. However, to finish breakfast service at 9am on a Sunday is far too early. They were busy running around to empty the rooms to care about the remaining guests. It's a bit of a hike up the hill from the centre, but we liked the quiet.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights in old building which has previously been a pub and girls' dormitory for St Ed's School. METICULOUSLY clean room and bedding. Very friendly owners who were prepared to put themselves out to cope with special requests as due to ageing hips we did not find one of the beds very comfortable. They put a...
