We rented a threebed room for a couple with a 16 year old son. The double bed was very small, the single bed was good. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the big shower. The location of this B & B is fantastic. Very close to the wonderful city of Canterbury. The owners were friendly and made a fantastic English...

We stayed two nights in the B&B. It was a last minute booking - our first choice was not available, since everything in Canterbury was full booked for the chosen dates. The B&B is homely and furniture is old style, I had the feeling to be in my grandma's place. The room was clean, although there were traces of rust in...

Stayed for one night only .£120 for a double room and a single .Peak season . Shortage of rooms in City. On arrival greeted by proprietor polite enough , though not a warm welcome. The B&B is in dire need of a refurb .Although the place appeared clean Mattress had rust marks all over it . Pillows old and flat...

Spent a week travelling around Kent and a trip to London, decided to have a base and the only place to stay in was here as we have stayed here many times. Terry & Jean were as welcoming as always and this time we were given room 3. When we had stayed in this room before this was the 4...

A very basic b&b with very small rooms, rather rundown furniture, worn out mattresses and pillows (at least in the room I had), tiny TV only viewable if directly opposite which means you have to sit up in bed, wooden toilet seat which I consider to breed germs, carpet in need of cleaning. The general appearance suggests "has seen better...

This is unfortunately the worst guesthouse I've ever stayed in. The room was not clean, the bathroom was mouldy, the breakfast was alright, the host were not that friendly and was so muggy inside. I could not wait to leave. It is a very unclean place.

Every guest that comes here has to fill out a registration form, we had no person of this name or address registered so if she did stay here she falsified a legal form. all our rooms are cleaned on a daily bases and if its muggy we have fans in the rooms or the guest can always open a window....

We could see the room before we decided to stay, but she also told us Canterbury was full... So no choise. The house is old...

We are sorry our guest house did not come up to this persons expectation, o sorry it did because at the time of booking it he said in the review that he was not expecting to meet his standards if that was the case he should not have booked it. So we dont no why he was disappointed

Back again.... A long weekend stay this time 3 nights in Room 2, very comfy bed, the room even has a desk and chair to put my laptop on. The room is at the front on the ground floor and apart from a couple of late night revellers passing on the Friday night we weren't disturbed and had a good...

The B&B was okay and the owners were friendly. We were offered two rooms but the one with double bed had super small bathroom so took the 2 single room with bigger bathroom. But bathroom was not very clean it had other peoples hairs on the floor which was rather off putting. The decor is tired and bathrooms need work....

This couple did not like anything about Canterbury going by the reviews. If they had unpacked their luggage into the drawers and wardrobe in room they would have had Amply space but chose to open their cases and leave them open on the floor, all our rooms get decorated every 2 years and are cleaned on a daily bases and...

We stayed a couple nights for a wedding, and Terry and Jean were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful in giving us bus directions to the church, and Terry was great taking our *very* heavy bag up to the room for us. The breakfasts were an awesome reason to wake up early, and they let us add items from the...
