Review more for parents really 🙂.

Main door opens using a Secure fob into a spacious hallway. The halls are broken into secured numbered pods Off the hallway. Beyond the secured door numbered Pod say number 1 are the studios numbered 1a, 1b etc.. The one we looked at has 5 studios within it plus a spacious kitchen exclusive to these studios all Within the same pod.

The Bedroom is spacious with lots of storage, shelves, a small wardrobe, under bed storage, a desk, a bin, carpeted, but advise to take a rug 🙂, own bathroom with a shower and toilet. The spring mattress felt old and uncomfortable, we may have to buy an additional thicker foam topper. There were new cleaning and dusting cloths left out. We took some anyway plus cleaning sprays as well.

The kitchen was very clean, enough cupboards for each of the 5 studio rooms. At least a cupboard and a half. There were cooking pots etc though we took a set as well. There are two standing fridge freezers with enough space in the freezers for at least a compartment for each room. Good to know if you want to bring cooked food to be frozen. Large Gas cooker with six hobs and a large oven. No dishwasher. There is a laundry room outside and adjacent to the halls which is shared with the other three or fours houses in the Cul de sac.

All in all satisfied as parents when we left.

We stopped at Turing for one night. It was very convenient to stay on campus in order to take some of our son's luggage. Breakfast is included and also a free parking permit. It was very easy to walk into Canterbury and leave the car parked.
The room was clean with a kettle and coffee and tea - always a plus. There are also bath products. I did find the room rather hot and there was air conditioning, but nothing that we could adjust.
Unfortunately I found the bed a little uncomfortable, the TV remote didn't work, which meant it was stuck on itv2 and I had to switch it off at the plug and the sanitary bin didn't appear to have been emptied.
Apart from these minor points I still think that staying in campus is great.

We stayed at the brand new Turing College. Excellent room with TV, fast WiFi, nice bathroom and bag of toiletries. Good evening meals at the Gulbenkian theatre on site. Breakfast in one of the college dining rooms plentiful but not the best we've had.
Easy 30 minute walk down into Canterbury to see the town and cathedral - and a frequent bus service back up the hill. Short journies to local places of interest such as Dover Castle, Walmer Castle, Leeds Castle and the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway

Very good value and far better than many more expensive hotels we have stayed in.
Spotlessly clean with all the "trimmings". Good breakfast and helpful, pleasant reception.
Our room was near the front door of the block so quite a lot of visitors coming and going but overall would highly recommend.

Stayed the night at my daughter's lovely accommodation. Ensure room with large shower cubicle, full size wardrobe, 3/4 bed and desk. Well maintained and clean in lovely surroundings. Well kept buildings and grounds. I'm sure she will be extremely happy here and I can't wait to visit again!

Amazing value, good transport links. Breakfast is included in the price, and the food was plentiful and lots of choice, full english or cereal, croissants, fruit, or a bit of everything! the rooms, campus and restaurant were all spotless. You have an ensuite too. A shared kitchen and dining area so if you want to cook you can. I will stay again next time I am in Canterbury!

Not cheap but high standard of accommodation. Clean. Quiet outside of term time. Parking on site. 5 minute taxi journey from centre.

Good breakfast.

Checkin/out times are annoyingly restrictive (1400-2200). Otherwise, couldn't fault it.

Having stayed in university accommodation in London over the past few years I was keen to try the accommodation at Keynes , University of Kent. I was a little wary of the distance from the University to the centre of town, not being in the full flush of youth but I soon discovered that its distance from town added to the pleasure of staying rather than being a problem. I stayed there in the last week of June and found the staff very helpful. The wifi was excellent and available all over the campus. If one does not want to walk into town there is there is an excellent bus service from practically outside the main doors and it is worthwhile buying a day ticket rather than paying for each bus trip individually. A special word for the bars where the cost of a pint or Gin and tonic was so cheap as to be almost obscene ! The rooms were larger than I was used to in central London residences and were clean and comfortable. The age range of guests 18-80 showed that this was not just for students and it is clear much care and attention has been put into making this a superb summer base for exploring Canterbury and East Kent. Buses to the interesting resort of Whitstable also go from the University and transport was not a problem. The breakfast was without a doubt the best I have experienced in any University accommodation My only regret is that it is not available all year round !

We stayed here for the weekend as part of a large group. As it was student accomodation we were not expecting it to be up to much. However we were very impressed with our room, which was clean and well furnished in a basic sort of way. There was a kitchen available for our use and breakfast was served in the student cafeteria. Breakfast was a self service affair and was a lot better than we were expecting. All in all a good value for money weekend.
