Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Review more for parents really 🙂. Main door opens using a Secure fob into a spacious hallway. The halls are broken into secured numbered pods Off the hallway. Beyond the secured door numbered Pod say number 1 are the studios numbered 1a, 1b etc.. The one we looked at has 5 studios within it plus a spacious kitchen exclusive to these studios all Within the same pod. The Bedroom is spacious with lots of storage, shelves, a small wardrobe, under bed storage, a desk, a bin, carpeted, but advise to take a rug 🙂, own bathroom with a shower and toilet. The spring mattress felt old and uncomfortable, we may have to buy an additional thicker foam topper. There were new cleaning and dusting cloths left out. We took some anyway plus cleaning sprays as well. The kitchen was very clean, enough cupboards for each of the 5 studio rooms. At least a cupboard and a half. There were cooking pots etc though we took a set as well. There are two standing fridge freezers with enough space in the freezers for at least a compartment for each room. Good to know if you want to bring cooked food to be frozen. Large Gas cooker with six hobs and a large oven. No dishwasher. There is a laundry room outside and adjacent to the halls which is shared with the other three or fours houses in the Cul de sac. All in all satisfied as parents when we left.

Stayed for a Diocesan Conference for two nights. Large bed than a single and well designed bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities and free internet. Parking a little walk if all the spots nearby are taken.

I stayed here for two nights when I was at a conference at the Uni. This is student accommodation, so is quite basic but was clean and comfortable. I paid £100 for two nights B&B. Pros for me were: The room and all areas I visited were very clean It has an en-suite with a shower, which was lovely and warm and they also provided hair and body products and the elusive shower cap. You get a kettle with a variety of teas and coffee. Staff lovely and friendly Breakfast was great. I'm veggie and they already had vegetarian sausages cooked and waiting which rarely happens! There is a variety of juice and hot drinks, full cooked breakfast buffet, cold meats and cheese and a bread area where you can toast your own if required. Uni grounds are well sign-posted There is a bus that runs through the Uni. I didn't catch it but assume it can take you into the city. There is an on sight leisure centre, which you get free access to. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to visit it. Cons The bed felt quite cheap and was a small double, so think you'd be a bit cramped with two people Parking throughout the uni requires permits. Whilst you get one with your stay, the parking around Turing College is very limited No lamp in the room, so you're either in bright light or pitch black! Walls are very thin. I heard snoring and talking in the adjoining rooms. You're still about 1.5 miles from the centre and I thought £50 was a little excessive for what you get.

I stayed 5 nights and and am very satisfied, A frequent bus service from the main bus station will take you to the university. My room was of a reasonable size ,clean, very comfortable bed , kettle etc, nice white towels and I will mention a bottle of drinking water when I arrived.. A good selection at breakfast including fresh fruit. The only thing missing was a T.V. But there was a nice common room with daily papers.etc.

I stayed at Turing College for just the one night over a busy weekend in Canterbury, when everything else that was a reasonable price was fully booked. At roughly £45 a night it was very welcome at short notice. It's very basic being a student room, but was very clean and tidy. Shower good and towels, tea / coffee provided. It is about a mile from the main city but I highly rate it for a quick nights sleep and good value for money.

Very good value and far better than many more expensive hotels we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean with all the "trimmings". Good breakfast and helpful, pleasant reception. Our room was near the front door of the block so quite a lot of visitors coming and going but overall would highly recommend.

I stayed here on Friday evening and the cost of my single room was £55.00 including breakfast. The room itself was en suite with a shower and there was tea and coffee facilities, towels and toiletries were also supplied, the room was clean and well presented, as I stayed at the end of the heatwave reception were offering fans which was good. Parking is a bit random and although there are car parks nearby it could possibly be a bit too far if you have luggage. It cost nearly £25 for a taxi to the city centre and back again. The breakfast though was a different story, the bacon was over cooked and the rashers were stuck together, in the main it was lukewarm and the eggs that were available were scrambled. I suppose you get what you pay for it was definitely canteen food at it’s worst.
