I stayed in a single room for two nights on a Sunday - Tuesday, and was greatly impressed by the value of the cost of the stay. For probably around £40ish, two nights in a single room with great bed, tv, sink and utensils, kettle and tea / coffee, and small storage space was a

This was my first time staying in a hostel and my pre-conceived idea of this type of accommodation were unfounded when we stayed overnight at Kipps in Canterbury. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. Communal areas were well maintained and comfortable. Bedrooms were

Our team of plumbers have stayed at Kipps a lot now having a lot of work in the area. Its an ideal place for them to rest after a hard day. Beds are comfy, having a kitchen was a great use to the lads and the staff were really helpful. Angela and Carmen especially. A great place

Hi Sometimes you cant please everybody that stays at Kipps From your arrival, you was very off, as if a backpackers hostel wasnt the accommodation you preferred. We have 1 plug in air freshner in the hallway, as explained on arrival, and the room is air freshened before a guests arrival. But to be honest your reaction to the smell was a little ott and rude. All you had to do was switch the air freshner off in the hallway or the reception staff did when you reacted to the smell of linen air freshner But you continued to go on about the smell the whole entire stay, we have never had a reaction to a nice smell before in the hostel, so this is a first for us. We are quite happy you will not come back to Kipps, so you are happy and we are happy Regards Kipps

We booked late but they had availability when others did not. Despite paying more than other reviewers, it was still reasonable value, particularly considering late booking and location. The room was reasonably equipped with a comfortable bed. The toilet and shower room (no bath

Hi Thank you for your rating and comments Glad you enjoyed your stay, Unfortunately as the bathroom is shared, if we had a bath, people would take ages enjoying a relax and soak, so the next guests would never be able to use the facilities. Only ensuite rooms have these Regards

"Back may be quieter"
"Possibly a room at the back may be quieter. I could hear a bit of traffic noise from my room at the front, but not too bad. No complaints."
"I had a double room so no experience of the dormitory accommodation"
"You may find a room next to the toilet/shower rooms more convenient."
"For me, the dormitory for 10 in the upper floor is the best one: an attic room"
