I stayed here out of necessity while waiting for my new house to become available, but straight away felt welcome and my mind was put at peace thanks to the staff and guests. The atmosphere generated is warmer and friendlier than you could possibly imagine. I hesitate to call it a hostel because it's nothing like the standard experience you...

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's in a very convenient location and served as a great base for going into Canterbury, which was only a 10-15min walk. Our room (we had a private double) was clean and well equipped with kettle, nice towels and hair dryer. Super comfy mattress and pillows. Check in and out was...

I stayed at Kipps during my summer holidays. I visited England and it was lovely. Staff are very nice, knowledgeable and really care for guests. The place is very clean, beds are very comfortable and it has a lot of character. In the evenings they organize events like Pizza, Pancake and smoothie. Canterbury is a very nice historic City to...

Bad Points: • All guests are isolated to one room, while cleaning is done for 3 hours and 30 minutes. • Not allowed to go to toilet in hostel when cleaning is done, so have to go to city centre to use public toilet. • There is a rule about staff not allowed to check people in after 11:00, but...

Stayed for 1 night with a group of 8 friends. We usually stay at the YHA, which is very good, but was full this time. Booked Kipps instead and do not have any regrets. It's a small, welcoming and well located hostel. The rooms are clean and it has a really nice kitchen area. This hostel would suit those looking...

Great place altogether, Michael in particular was a good crack. I really liked the effort that was put into films and snacks, it was really good; something always going on very reasonable bar prices as well

Very nice building. Has rustic charm. Staff are lovely and rooms are clean, however. I stayed for a long period of time and have now been banned for life, for valid reason. Dont pass, Go, don;t collect 200 pounds.... just go.... The first few sentences are nice sure, but after further reflection. I have to say that if you have...

Stayed there for 5 days. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are extraordinarily comfortable, clean and well equipped (you got a water kettle with several teas and coffee for yourself, hair dryer, enough towels, soup and shampoo, TV, washbasin with mirror, desk with chair and reading light => more than you would expect). THe hostel is located in...
