Had an amazing stay here, was only a 2 night short stay but we were made to feel incredibly welcome. We were greeted at the door and were shown around, even at the late hour we arrived. The room was perfect, had everything we needed and everything we didn't know we needed. Everything was spotless and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious both mornings and we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy it, we never felt rushed which was great. Heidi and Paul were such nice people and made our stay that much better. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours Heidi and Paul. I will definitely stay here again.
We had a lovely week stay here at Harriet House B&B - our room was spotless and bright/airey with all the amenities that you could wish for from the nespresso machine to the comfortable bed which each night gave us a great sleep. We were so pleased of the fan that was in the room as we were experiencing a mini heatwave during our stay so it helped to cool the room down as well as the blinds. Refreshments in the room were of a good standard (especially the biscuits and tunnocks teacakes - even if they did melt in the heat - thank goodness for the fridge!) Loved the idea of the cupboard full of everything that you could have to top up during the stay and avoided having to keep asking for it! The breakfasts were sublime especially the homemade pancakes which were delicious. The continental selection was great especially the pastries. Location is a 10/15 minute walk to both the centre of Canterbury and to the train station, Canterbury West. We parked our car and used it only once during our stay as it was so east to catch the train to the places we visited. Heidi and Paul are great hosts and we were very pleased to meet them and look forward to staying here again in the not too distant future. …

Stayed 2 nights over bank holiday weekend. This is a small b&b in a residential area 10 minutes walk from city centre. It has off road parking which is great as you really don’t need your car in Canterbury. It is spotless, really have to say that this place gleams. Furnishing and fittings are all new and faultlessly clean, big comfortable bed. Breakfast cooked to order and delicious. For a weekend break in Canterbury I really couldn’t ask for more. The hosts Paul and Heidi are happy to give recommendations. Would merrily stay again.
Absolutely fantastic stay, hosts were exactly what you want, available when needed whilst being unobtrusive. Good advice from them about where to go and what to see. Room was spotless and very comfortable and quiet, easy walking distance to Canterbury centre. On site parking a definite plus and has cctv, so much better than other options that had the need to 'park nearby'. Highly reccomend the breakfasts especially the full English! This is the standard others should aim for.
We tried to find what we thought would be the best place to stay in Canterbury, and fortunately we made the right choice! We had a friendly welcome, a lovely room with modern shower en-suite with coffee and tea making facilities etc. A very pleasant breakfast room and the best breakfasts we have ever had. The granola was delicious and the full English was perfect I would also mention that the whole place was very tastefully decorated and everything seemed to be well thought out, right down to the finer details Even though it was professionally run, it wasn't too formal and there was a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Paul and Heidi were very friendly and efficient hosts who had obviously worked very hard and put a lot of effort into making Harriet House such a quality b&b. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it without hesitation.…
The whole experience was amazing from when we arrived to when we left lovely hosts everything was immaculate such a nice night n day will definitely go many more time’s all facilities were on hand plus extra’s if you ran out of anything. Breakfast was lovely a buffet with a selection of fruit juice’s, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries and toast followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice.
A wonderful b&b in close walking distance of Canterbury. The room was spotlessly clean with modern decor and well equipped. Our hosts Paul and Heidi were friendly and welcoming. Our breakfast was superb with great choice and very fresh. The homemade granola was a nice touch and tasty. Would definitely return.
Paul and Heidi run a beautiful B&B and offer a great variety at breakfast. The rooms are modern, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Harriet House is a pleasant 10-15 minute stroll away from the centre of Canterbury along the river Stour. The river path is paved and easy to find. Great place to stay and lovely hosts.
