What an amazing B&B..Went for a weekend to Dover to explore and visit the area, but Alkham Court Farmhouse was the highlight of the trip. It was such a charming, peaceful, beautiful place to stay that didn't want to leave. The room was comfortable, neat, beautiful decorated. Neal and Wendy were the perfect hosts, made you feel just like home....

We stayed for two nights for an anniversary weekend and had a fantastic time. Wendy and her husband run a really great B & B that they put a lot of hard work into. The property is beautiful, and the breakfasts are 10/10. We stayed in a garden room. We had dinner at the Marquis on the Saturday night which...

We stayed in the Garden Room for 3 nights in August and throughly enjoyed it. Wendy makes a fantastic breakfast and her and Neil were outstanding hosts. Alkham Court is a perfect base to explore Kent. We travelled to Dover, Leeds Castle, Canterbury, and Rye without difficulty. What makes Alkham Court especially special is the view of the countryside and...

We were warmly greeted by Wendy with tea and cake in the garden, the views were spectacular. My husband and I stayed in the Pheasant Room. It was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable super-king bed. I changed my pillows as I don't get on with feathers but spares were in the wardrobe should you need them along with a...

My wife and I arrived in Alkham Court Farmhouse a little bit earlier than expected. The weather was great so we decided to sit in the garden and enjoy the wonderful view. When she arrived, Wendy offered us a Pim's and ice cream with strawberries from the garden. How could it start better? We stayed in the Garden room which...

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, Neil and Wendy took great care of us. The hospitality was fantastic, every single little detail was looked after. When we got there Wendy served us tea and some homemade Victoria Sponge in the lovely garden, combined with the breathtaking views - it was the perfect start to our weekend....

Thank you very much Laura for your great review and we really appreciate all your lovely comments. I've been so pleased everyone's enjoying our new smoothies for breakfast and I am trying a variety of flavours each day. We look forward to seeing you on your next 'escape' to Alkham. Best wishes Wendy & Neil

Wendy and Neil are friendly and accommodating hosts who had thought of every last detail to make our stay weekend stay comfortable! The Garden Room was cozy and has an amazing view out over the Alkham Valley, as does the breakfast room (and various benches around the outside of the house). Speaking of breakfast, I enjoyed Wendy's homemade muesli so...

I could never imagine that a 5 day stay at a B&B in rural Kent could be "too short", but it certainly felt that way for me. I visited Alkham court with a family of 10 and occupied all 4 rooms at the farm. The rooms were all delightful. Modern showers and/or baths, amenities to rival 5 star hotels, comfy...

Wendy was about the kindest person I've ever met. My husband and I visited from the US. We reserved the Garden Room which had a private entrance that had an amazing view. Wendy laid out a spread for breakfast you wouldn't believe. There were four kind of yogurt, five types of jam, local honey, bread, cereal, juices, tea, and coffee....
