Nethercourt Touring Park is a small family run campsite in Ramsgate, Kent. We accept tents, motorhomes, and caravans, and we are OPEN ALL YEAR. We have a small games room, vending machines, a utility and laundry room, and tourist information on site. Showers and Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi zone) are inclusive of the pitch fee. The beach, Ramsgate town centre and the only royal harbour in the country are a mile away and can be reached via a beautiful cliff top walk which also forms part of the Viking Cycle Trail. There is a bus stop outside the gate with a bus that travels to Ramsgate, Broadstairs, and Canterbury. The Loop bus is also fantastic with buses running every 7-9 minutes travelling on a continual Loop around Ramsgate, Broadstairs, and Margate. There are 15 sandy beaches and bays in the area and 7 have Blue flag awards. There is plenty to do in the nearby area for example; The Spitfire and Hurricane Museum, Ramsgate War Tunnels, Hornby Visitor Centre, The Micro Museum, Shell Grotto, The Turner Contemporary Art Gallery, Dover Castle, and Canterbury Cathedral. The campsite is within a 5 minute walk of Tesco and various take aways.

Highly recommend ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Great campsite in a great location. We have camped here 3 times and will be back again next year! Super friendly, great pitches, WiFi, easy access to local attractions. The toilet blocks are clean and super efficient. Great value for money and a very warm welcome. Everything you need for a great break ! Thank you.

Wanted to stay in August, so rang, but only an answer phone. Left a message and am still waiting for a reply. I expect that they are inundated with โ€˜staycationersโ€™, and so donโ€™t need to actively search for business, but next year might be different. Also, if they have that sort of attitude to potential clients, it is likely to run through to actual clients.

The facilities are spotless and a big plus is the turn on showers and not press button! The utility room as washing up sinks, a washer and drier, maps of the local area, local takeaway menus. Itโ€™s a lovely walk into Ramsgate and you can continue onto Broadstairs following the coastal path. Both beautiful places. There is a bus stop outside the campsite which takes you directly to Canterbury and a train station close by. If you like to leave the car behind this is the campsite for you! The Belle Vue Tavern is just a short walk away from the campsite and is well worth a visit. It as a beautiful terrace where you can soak up the sun and look out to sea at the fabulous views. The owners of this site are lovely! They are informative and friendly and advise you that they are always available if you need anything! Canโ€™t wait to return!

If you want to feel at home at a site, this is the place to come to, have not come across a more welcoming and helpful site, many thanks again to Mark and Emma for all the chat and information. Ideally situated for Ramsgate and the beautiful Viking Coastal Trail around the Isle of Thanet. Will definitely be back.

Well it has to be said this site is so run down and untidy. flower beds full of weeds, service poor owner turned up to site us and that was it no-one about after that, security nil, no barrier, free for all and sundry to tresspass, police turned up one night lights flashing and driving round the site. Disabled block not available as someone was shielding (Coronavirus Period) when asked why my partner could not use it his reply was a shielder was using it and we could not have the use. I thought the site was for holiday makers as a priority surely the site did not ought to be used for someone shielding. The alternative toilet/showers block had a step well in excess height wise for getting in really difficult for someone with disabilities to gain access, a hand grab rail was there but practically useless as hard to reach from the ground. Needless to say we cut short our stay as did not find anything positive to say about this establishment, having said that the toilet block was good but dirty shower channel was filthy and beware a drop not obvious in showers, no basket to hold gel shampoo etc, no grab rail and 1 hook (improvement necessary) Site is close to Ramsgate seafront and bus stops outside entrance for buses to Canterbury, Ramsgate.
