Literally cannot praise this place enough. After a shambles with the hotel we originally booked, royal temple managed to find us a room. The room was lovely for the price but Hannah who was in charge was absolutely incredible and very warm and friendly, even went out of her way to do everything she could to make our memorable. We will definitely be back to stay!

I was worried we wouldn’t find anything nice enough for our birthday celebration in Ramsgate but was pleasantly surprised by the Royal Temple Yacht Club. The harbour view room was huge and the bed was huge too! The view was fantastic, as were the staff and service. Lovely large bar area and outside terrace with private steps down to the harbour and town. Walking distance to everything, they don’t offer breakfast but recommended ‘Ship Shape’ cafe under the arches just in front of the hotel which was great, full English breakfast and tea/coffee for £6.50. The only downside was the pillows weren’t to our liking but we are fussy! Bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries, room had tea, coffee and biscuits. Multi storey car park at the back was literally just steps from the back door and only £8.50 for 24 hours. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone especially if you like a maritime theme. Special thanks to ‘Dee’ for being so welcoming.

My partner and i stayed here this weekend for two nights in room Three. Lovely venue, large clean room with Two sash windows giving a good view of the Harbour and Marina. The staff were all polite and helpful. There is a reasonably priced bar with a good choice of drinks that you can enjoy on the terrace overlooking the Marina, we had great weather and could have been on the continent. Great value at £800 a night in peak season.God parking a minute away in a multi storey at £7.50 for 24 hours. There are a few stairs so if mobility is an issue ring the hotel. We re booked while we were there for later in the year.

While perhaps not the cheapest option in town, the RTYC more than makes up for this with its superb character. It has an unrivalled view of the harbour; the bar is stacked with decades' worth of silverware and there are several club rooms full of memorabilia.

The rooms, though not particularly large, are immaculate and the management (Suze and others) are friendly and welcoming. If we return to Ramsgate, we would look no further than the RTYC.

Warmly welcomed! Important to note this Hotel has no food offering... but Guests have access to cutlery & a fridge. High above the Royal Harbour, this Hotel is eerily quiet at night. The stairs are a bit twisting too. Spotlessly clean. Option for Guests NOT to be serviced every single day. My main criticism is that the small whitewashed bedroom I was allocated really needs Artwork, Pictures of boats, Collages etc.... & far more moveable chairs!

Have to say the room we had was pretty basic drab painted walls and wallpaper that could have done with sticking down. The shower was good. However the staff made up for it as they were very welcoming and the bar was good. Would stay again but not in room 5

Lovely place to stay, good value for money, rooms clean and fantastic harbour view. But no good if you want a decent nights sleep. Kept awake until 03:00 in the morning due to live music coming from the Mariner's Bar a few blocks away (finished at midnight) and then further music and noise coming from somewhere out in the harbour. Worst night's sleep I've had in years.

The lady on arrival was helpful and friendly. The room was large and airy and lovely and clean (Psst room 5 the bathroom fan does needs a good dust though). Booked last minute and were at the back of the hotel, so the view wasn't anything to get excited about. Nice bar down stairs (shuts early) with lovely patio over looking the harbour. Only down side was the noisy seagulls that started at 5am. Followed by the bin men at 6am (Monday). Gulls and bin men not the RTYC's fault. Seagulls are all part of being by the sea! We have a new favourite place to stay, when in Ramsgate. What's more it's great value for money.

We stayed in a twin room with a view of the harbour. The room was clean with comfortable beds and quality bedding. Suze was very helpful and informative. Great price for the location, room and service. We will definitely be back.
