Very pleasant welcome and room ready early. Our superior room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Hospitality tray well stocked. Good choice of cooked breakfasts, very well cooked and delicious. Small choice of cereals. Service a little disorganised. On two occasions our hot meal was served before our cereal had arrived. We ate three evening meals and the service wes very pleasant and food excellent although limited choice for us. The hotel advertises free wi fi but this was not compatible with android devices. On some occasions I could not access the internet. All staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Good parking in front of hotel. Good location. A ten minute walk into town from hotel. Not far fron the Common. We would love to stay here again .

We stayed 4 nights with our big greyhound, Charlie as we were down to visit family. The hotel has been renovated and decorated and is absolutely beautiful. Our room was on the top floor and while it was well appointed and beautifully styled it was absolutely roasting. Even with the windows open and a fan on all night, it was far too hot for us. For me, a feather pillow doesn’t help so perhaps a microfiber option in the wardrobe might be an option? Although a combo of the current pandemic and Brexit meant some drinks were off the menu, the bar was still well stocked with an excellent wine list. Charlie was made to feel right at home and as the bar was nice and quiet, there was plenty of space for his bed so he could snooze while we had a drink or dinner. The menu had plenty veggie options and the food was delicious. One big plus was being able to park at the hotel – usually parking is on street or paid, so to be able to have a space for the car each day was fantastic. All the staff were friendly, engaging and keen to ensure our comfort and they loved the big man too, haha! Will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re down – easy access to the top of the town and the Pantiles.

We stayed at the Royal Wells Hotel for a couple of nights - in two different rooms - both of which were really nice, clean and high quality. The customer service was fantastic, we unfortunately had a bad experience in a Tunbridge Wells B&B, but the Royal Wells Hotel came to our rescue at very short notice and really exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was also top notch, which is such a crucial part of a hotel! Would highlight recommend.

Stayed here for family members wedding. Hotel had work being done on outside but even so you can see it was a lovely looking hotel Ample car parking outside Sadly didn't use the restaurant but it looked lovely. The room was amazing, stayed in room 12 - I think - 2nd floor and at the very end, lovely view out the window. Big queen size bed , very comfy!! Pillows were great aswell The bathroom. Had recently been refurbished, the bath was huge and the shower was a natural rainfall one, absolutely stunning for a morning shower 🙌🙌 Plenty of toiletries, tea/coffee facilities in room. Was even able to order a uber eats to the hotel after the wedding! Will definitely be back again for a weekend!

3 night stop.Clean room. Comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent, especially the sausages. Dinner was also excellent with good choices. All the staff were warm friendly and efficient. My wife is disabled and a parking space was saved for us and no problems about charging battery on scooter. All in all a very pleasant stay. Thanks to all
