Good position and not too far to walk to Museum Quarter/Shops/Railway Station etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Plenty of choice and well cooked. My one minor complaint was that there is a big extractor right outside the window of bedroom 6 which was noisy and intrusive although it did seem to go off...

This small hotel is located near the city centre of Hull. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are traditional without being dated. As a person with a mobility problem, I wish that the entrance was not at the top of a small flight of stairs. So call ahead if you need wheelchair access. I believe the staff could...

Tea and coffee facilities with chocolates, biscuits and a bottle of water left in the room for us. Complimentary toiletries were also...

We were fortunate to have a good large room which was well appointed. Disappointingly the corridor to the room and the bathroom smelled of smoke. I was unable to swap the shower fitting to fill up the bath. Noise carried in the hotel at night. We ate breakfast with the waitresses rushing round to the the sound of hoovering in...

I'm from Hull originally and had known of this hotel for donkeys' years, but this was the first time I'd ever stayed there. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff - from the receptionist (who seemed to be on a 24-hour shift!) through to the waitress who was happy to offer bespoke versions of the breakfast menu. Room and bed comfy. A...
