Stayed Sunday 8th May 2202 An excellent hostel, can't/won’t fault it. The hostel was clean, tidy, well-presented. It had a brilliant, friendly atmosphere. The bedroom 7 was well laid out, comfortable double bed, chair, table and storage space. The main reception area is a comfortable, friendly space to chill out and chat to Glenn and other visitors. He has created genuinely interesting place and ethos. Glenn was friendly, honest, helpful in welcoming me and recommended me of places to go; all were worth visiting. The hostel is well placed, easy walking distance of places to eat, drink, visitor attractions, and the main shopping areas. It’s a mere 10-15 minutes’ walk from the train/bus interchange. Glenn deserves praise, respect and support in his ethos of running the hostel; especially in respecting donating generously to his breakfast box. It reminded me of similar places I had stayed in my travels many years ago. I didn’t think I see the like again.

Can't fault this place at all. The hostel was clean, tidy, and well-presented. It had a lovely atmosphere and was a genuinely lovely place to stay. Glenn was so friendly and couldn't have made me feel more welcome. I stayed in a single room which was such a great price and value for money. The hostel is in a perfect location in Old Town, a short walk from Hull Train and Bus Station, shops, restaurants etc. I will definitely be returning in the near future and would recommend to anyone.

Thanks so much Mollie: firstly for booking directly through our website, and also leaving such a lovely review. It was great being able to put you up, and really glad your stay worked out. You obviously get what we're trying to do here. So do come again, bring some friends, and maybe even you can have your own little private party here - sometimes I forget we have a drinks licence when times are quiet...

Glenn and co were so friendly and honest, you could tell they really loved the city they lived in. For some reason during our trip to Hull, it didn't seem like many local people actually liked Hull but the staff's enthusiasm really came through. The hostel was very vibey, lots of board games, books, good wifi to use. Even refreshments run by donation. Value-wise, it not expensive to stay at all and was very worth it. We stayed in the six-person room - the room itself was typical of a hostel with a little window nook and very funky wall art which we took lots of photos in front of. We even used the extra pull-out bed as a sofa. The only thing that could have made it better was if there was a larger table for our 6 person group but it's understandable considering the size of the hostel as a whole.

Thanks Miriam - for booking direct, and your kind remarks. I enjoyed the brief time I was able to spend with your group, you really all seem good fun. Glad you noticed some of the little things we have in here - and I'll look out for a larger table - as long as you promise to visit again sometime soon. I'll happily accompany you all on a little walk round of the Old Town and Marina if you so desire. Best wishes. Glenn.

We took a group of year 12 students to Hull to completed some geography fieldwork and stayed here for the night. This backpackers was extremely clean with spacious rooms and in a great location. Glenn was excellent, extremely hospitable and great with the students. He also had great knowledge of Hull which supported our students with their fieldwork. I would highly recommend.

Many thanks Richard: firstly for booking independently with us, and secondly for bringing such a good group of learners to stay. As we spoke, I look forward to welcoming your students studying areas such as coastal erosion and urban regeneration in the future. Glenn. HTB

I hired two bikes from Hull Trinity Hostel in July 2021 and can only recommend the service. Glenn at the hostel was very welcoming and got us going on our way to the Hornsea Trail speedily - nothing seemed too much for him. The bikes were in excellent condition. Despite us having returned the bikes slightly muddy on our return he was exceptionally cheerful and genuinely interested how our ride had been. Can't wait to use the bike hire service again - very reasonably priced and exceptionally friendly service.

No trouble at all, though yes your bikes did need quite a clean - but let's just blame that on the weather! Look forward to greeting you again to hire bikes from us: how about heading out and over the Humber Bridge next time?...

My wife and I hired two bikes for the day from Glenn and what a great seamless experience that was ! He helped us adjust seats and advised us in the route to the Humber Bridge. It was a challenge for us as the round trip was almost 30 km , but we made it there and back . Glenn knows his business and backpacking hostels having also been an academic in that field . He had advice on the Penine and other long distance trails . We have no hesitation in recommending his bike hire and other services.

In terms of value for money and location this hostel is very good. The building is solid and impressive. Its location it’s right next to the minister and the old part of the city. You do not need to go far. The current owner, Glenn, was super helpful and are ready to help me in finding what I needed and mostly, about the city and it recent history. A super friendly local man, willing and ready to help. The whole building was private and secure even though it’s very close to a lot of the people traffic around a weekend. With the Hull River one minute walk away and the rest of the old city on your doorstep this place cannot be beaten for location. A restful stay for what I needed travelling through on my bike (safe space in the hostel for bikes day and night).
