We visited school holidays 2016 when everyone is in the lakes. Well this place is lovely and quiet. You'd not think it half term. All units are nicely sited amongst awesome tree stock.. Hundreds of years old. Sorry I love trees The site is on a hill so if your not a great walker maybe not for you... Mainly log...

We rented a cabin for the week(the ullswater). The site is very private, well kept and clean. The small pool area is nice to relax in on a cool evening. Lots of walking opportunities right from the site. Recommended if you after a quiet break. We could barely see other cabins from the porch.

Absolutely wonderful, tucked out of the way and peaceful. Beautiful inside and outside. Maybe a little small for a travel cot but managed perfectly fine. Wish we could pack the lodge up and take it home with us

Steep climb to cottage from car park space so not suitable for the less able ..we were only two although cottage...

We stayed at Pippins cottage at Neaum Crag in Skelwith bridge. The location is ideal for quick access to Ambleside, Langdale and Coniston. The back roads are on a 25% gradient single lane so not somewhere for expensive cars if you care about your wing mirrors. There are walks from the park up to high close and the surrounding areas...

Ramblers Rest is offered by Lakelovers rental agency who gave good service. Neaum Crag seems to be budget holiday accom. created some years ago in the grounds of a large old house. It's a mix of log cabins, apartments in the old house, and purpose built flats in two blocks. The flats were cheaply built and certainly, RR is now...

We stayed in a log cabin at the top of the hill. Even though there are a lot of them here you would not notice as they are well set out. It was peaceful with good walks available locally. You cut through the estate to get to the local pub which serves good ale and great food. If we were...

We have just returned home after a week in "Wastwater", a cabin on the complex set amidst the most peaceful, tranquil and utterly enchanting setting anyone could wish for. The cabin was surprisingly spacious with a lounge, dining and kitchen area, extremely well equipped, beautifully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean. All the bedrooms were of good size with comfortable...
