We stayed at Grove Corner during February half term. This was an ideal cottage, a real home from home. It is in such a great location, probably the best located cottage I've ever stayed in. The views are idyllic and it is so quiet and peaceful. Even though this is a collection of cottages you feel completely secluded, definitely can't...

Just what we hoped it would be! Slightly remote, stunning views, comfortable interior, efficient booking process. We loved the walks/runs from front door. Very reasonable price too. What more could we have asked for?!

Our 5th stay at Little Grove - it's like having your own time share! The accommodation was ready from mid day - a phone call from Sarah, on site manager, to confirm whilst we were wandering around Ambleside. We parked the car and left it. if you love walking then this is the place for you - so many low...

This cottage on a farm about 10 minutes drive outside of Ambelside was just gorgeous. It was so quiet and peaceful with all the amenities you need. It's in a very close proximity to local pubs, restaurants and cafes. The management are wonderful, adding little touches of homeliness everywhere. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet...

We stayed at the farmhouse on grove farm for a week with family. The drive up to the farm is a little tricky to find (we ended up going round ambleside twice!) And the road is narrow but you are rewarded by the most fantastic location. The views are stunning, at all times of day we sat out on one...

We stayed for a week at Little Grove, a small cottage for two in a stunning and peaceful location just outside of Ambleside. It had everything we needed. The only drawback for us was the steep 1.5 mile climb from the village to the cottage. If you don't have a car and want an evening out, take my advice... take...

There are five cottages here and we stayed in High Grove. It is in a stunning location high up a valley with amazing views across to Red Screes and the Coniston Fells. It is at the end of a narrow private road, so keep an eye out for passing places. At the house there is plenty of parking for residents....

We have just spent a week in Little Grove cottage which is perfectly located just outside Ambleside. The views from the cottage are uplifting with lots of mountains ,herdwick sheep and birdlife. The cottage is adequately equipped although in need of some TLC as some cooking utensils needed replacing and the bathroom needed maintenance. The cottage is advertised as having...

We booked High Grove cottage for a long weekend in February for myself, my wife and our 5 year old daughter. The cottages are situated about 1 mile out of Ambleside on a farm road, perfectly remote! The views from High Grove are outstanding and we were blessed with unseasonal blue skies and crisp frosty mornings for the 4 days...
