We have just come back from a week at the Low wray site and we really enjoyed our stay in the Willow lodge tipi. Clean, well built and fully equipped. It was our first experience in a tipi and we will surely go back again.Well done guys! The only reason that made me decide for a 4 rating is the toilets...

i am a seasoned camper and wanted a short break away with my niece. We booked a16 ft tipi for the two of us for four nights in July. The Low Wray site run by the National Trust is a lovely lakeside area with woodlands, open fields, bike and canoe hire, a well stocked shop and a wood fired pizza...

We stayed here for a Monday to Friday break in the August 2014 school holidays. On arrival it is like a mini adventure trying to find the phone box and retrieve your booking info and tipi details. We rushed round to park the car and the children ran off to find our tipi. Our first impressions were that it looked...

I took my girlfriend up to the Tipis for a long weekend. Although we had a great time I would highly recommend taking enough people (the full 5) to be worth the cost. The Windermere site was fully booked so we we're put in the Coniston site. The location was very nice, set back just from lake Coniston. A taxi...

This was a great place to go for people that want the camping experience but don't have the equipment to do it total rustic side. They provided everything you needed to for cooking, the bathrooms with showers were very close and the tipi was spacious enough that if it did rain during the day you could spend time inside without...

... a slightly odd review in that I didn't stay here. However, I was looking for somewhere at short notice to stay and was recommended to Lakeland Tipis by another firm. Lee was really helpful with advice and information so I wanted to say what great service we had even though we didn't get to stay here, and Lakeland Tipis...

Just back from a 3 day / 2 night stay in Curly Bear tipi (the best one imo!), had a brilliant time! Great location, beautiful scenery (as per the whole of the Lake District), very well kept site. Quite hands off staffing - collecting the tipi details from a phone box, entering a code to get them etc, felt like...

Stayed here recently for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon adventures - accidentally did a rain dance at some point but for me that just added to the cosy romantic feel of the tipi. The interior of the tipi is inviting and contains everything you could need, just bring your blankets for extra nesting. We spent a while 'glamping'...

Just returned home after a three night stay at the 4windstipis at Low Wray. We had an amazing time and our daughter (aged 3) loved it. The tipi did get cold at night but if you pack sensibly, warm clothes, extra blankets that won't be a problem. The showers and toilets were very clean , and there was always plenty...
