Beautiful location, many walks easily accessible. Accommodation modern, clean and well appointed - option to purchase wood for log fire was an enjoyable opportunity. Schedule well put together and flexible to people’s needs. Various styles and approaches to meditation and yoga gave a very holistic and rejuvenating experience. Massage was outstanding and yogic connection made it extremely special. Healthy and filling food was delicious and a detoxing change from usual fare. Came away feeling truly refreshed and revitalised. Thank you Suzy and Cadence x

Pros Wonderful host and staff, made me feel very welcome and relaxed from the start. I’ve been on yoga holiday/retreats before but this one was the absolute best ever. Suzy is an amazing teacher and person, gently spiritual and wonderful about explaining things. I loved her guided practises and meditations. I had a head massage with Bertie, which was devine, and reiki which Suzy, which was exactly what I needed. The accommodation is an eclectic mix of old barn and modern, the bed and bedding was comfortable, and pillows fluffy. Bathtoom modern and clean. The surrounding are peaceful and I was able to totally disconnect and relax. My morning tea was taken down by the beck, by a beautiful old oak tree. The food was delicious and plentiful. I’ve actually now bought the cookbook 😄 I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a truly amazing five days 🙏

The Sunny Brow experience is exceptional. The surroundings are beautiful but the hospitality and the retreat aspects of the stay exceed them. Days consist of breakfast/brunch, dinner and between - time snacks; always to top notch standards. Then yoga, meditation and whichever addition you request. The yoga is adapted to all skill levels (I’m a beginner) and time is given for self reflection. I intend to come again and many on the retreat had been three or four times before. Suzyanne is a wonderful host and an amazing yoga instructor who creates an environment of positivity and love, and the vegan food is complimented by excellent staff. If you’re considering booking, do it. It’s marvelous.

The location is amazing. The farm is beautiful. The buildings are original and have lovely architectural structures. The itinerary was different hence interesting. (Some activities were amazing, some were less so. One is also cancelled without any substitution.) The level of service; including room amenities, room cleaning, yoga space per person, yoga sequences and especially the cleaning of communal areas, definitely needs an improvement. The advertisement needs to be updated as well in line with what's offered. For now, it's an interesting concept but is highly overpriced and not COVID safe at all. These can be changed in future so it is better to check...

I booked the break for my wife's birthday and loved we loved everything about it. The accommodation was beautiful - clean, modern but homely. The short walk (30 seconds) to the Yoga Yurt in the woods was magical. Meditating in a Yurt, in the woods with the wind in the trees and the sound of water cascading down the hills below you whilst keeping warm from the wood-burner is an experience in itself. My wife has a little experience of Yoga whereas I had none yet we were both welcomed and accommodated in all the sessions. We also enjoyed a couples massage whilst there which was equally fantastic. We stayed in the 'HAYLOFT' where our home made organic vegan brunch and dinner was served to us by our wonderful hosts. Really was an amazing experience all round and we are already planning another visit. Genuinely we loved all of it. Only criticism would be I don't think the website did the retreat justice, everything was a lot better than we expected

The Old Dairy was beautifully furnished and so relaxing. Completely exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to return. The only thing I’d change would be for it to be dog-friendly, otherwise it’s everything you’d want from a base in the lakes.

We went on the Yoga and Sound retreat for 4 days and were treated to live singing, group chanting and relaxing and restorative yoga sessions. The accommodation was comfortable and stylish and the food was excellent. Beautiful surroundings with a calm and happy atmosphere; we had a wonderful time and will be back soon.😀

We stayed in the Old Dairy and it was stunning - superbly deigned, lovely furnishings and lots of space. Amazing shower, comfy and big bed - just perfect. Quiet and we slept great. Parking on site. Great walks from door. Nowhere to walk for dinner but options in Ambleside and Hawkshead and the Drunken Duck a short drive away. Room for 4 people, we were just 2 and nice to have the extra space. Only downside was wifi - we couldn't watch netflix as a bit unreliable and also would have been good to have a few bits such as oil, salt, pepper, more cleaning stuff, tinfoil etc.

Amazing experience, I have just returned home from a weekend retreat at Sunny Brow Farm and have to say it was amazing! A friend booked this and I didn’t look at the accommodation or retreat info until now. The accommodations as beautiful and finished to a high standard, it was clean and well equipped, if we didn’t have anything we needed, Suzi provided it and was a delightful. The programme of yoga, massage and other activities chanting, song and delicious healthy food etc left me feeling refreshed, recharged and inspired. I highly recommend sunny brow. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Sunny brow is just the most wonderful place. Enjoyed the most magical mid week yoga break. The space, the environments, the teachers - all fabulous. And the setting of sunnybrow, the food and the accommodation are all 5star+. Whether you’re looking for a yoga break or a beautiful space for a peaceful, stunning self catering break this really is a magical place Thank you Suzy and team ❤️🙏
