Although dinner places in the area are limited and a bit booked out but it's a great place to relax for 2 nights. Got the double bed with ensuite. Great bathroom. Window view to the farm is peaceful and full of natural light.

We had a very warm welcome after a long journey which we greatly appreciated. The house is very comfortable and there is an attention to detail present in every aspect of the stay. The room was very pleasant, clean and with nice little touches. Breakfast was also very nice with freshly made pastries. just another little attention to detail.

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of friends and I have to say this is one of, if not the nicest b&b I have stayed in. Location is great with amazing views and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They simply cannot do enough for you! The whole place is decorated fabulous, it's spotlessly clean and somewhere...

Really awesome rooms! The decor is very modern and chic! We had breakfast and afternoon tea while staying over the weekend. Damian is so friendly. The location is really nice and peaceful. Even though we stayed 1 night, I'm ready to go back again! Can't recommend this fine boutique enough to friends and family.

This is the second time we've stayed at West Vale and we thought we loved it first time round. However, the change of owner and the subsequent refurbishment have just made this B&B even more special. The decor is tasteful, well thought out and finished to a high standard. Plenty of choice for breakfast and any requests we had were...

Stayed for one night in September 2016. Gorgeous location in a very quiet area 5 minutes from Hawkshead/ Lake Windemere. We had originally booked room 8 which is beautifully decorated, spacious and had a lovely view however we moved to the cottage which is even more beautiful. The log fire is a perfect touch and made the cottage feel very...

Immaculate decor, very clean lovely part of Lake District, away from crowds. Breakfast excellent. Just down road from Beatrix Potters house so very convenient. All the rooms were in excellent condition and Owner was charming and only too happy to help in anyway to make your stay enjoyable.

Beautiful guest house set in lovely Cumbrian countryside, a stones throw from "Hilltop", the home of Beatrix Potter. Tastefully decorated throughout, the comfortable bedrooms look out over rolling fields and come with tea and coffee included. Whilst wi fi is supposedly included, it struggles to reach the first floor despite the boosters dotted about the place. However it is fairly...

My wife and I stayed for one night. We were warmly greeted and taken to our room which was comfortable and well appointed. The next day, after a very good full English, we were given some directions for a 6 mile circular walk that you can take from the property. It includes tarns, woods and quite a lot of damp,...
