I was lucky enough to stumble across this little place in the Summer of 2015, whilst spending several days running in the lakes. To date, it's been one of my favourite upmarket B&Bs. Great location, great property and fantastic hosts that were a pleasure to stay with. I will certainly go back.

Second visit to Easedale Lodge and just as good as our first visit. Sarah is the perfect hostess, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms have everything you need and very clean. Another stay at this wonderful B&B which is always our first choice when visiting Ambleside. The facilities are very good and the bedrooms and public areas are kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast is of a very high quality with a varied menu. Hosts David and Sarah are very approachable and offer a wealth of local advice should you require it... More

We've stayed in Ambleside many times, but the Easedale is the best by far. Located right in the centre, free parking, excellent breakfast and comfortable spotless rooms. Sarah can't do enough to make your stay a good one

Having stayed at Easedale Lodge before (April 2015) it was a no-brainer where we wanted to stay once we had made the decision to base ourselves in Ambleside for a few days. The rooms are modern and absolutely spotless; Sarah & Dave are fabulous hosts and more than happy to share local knowledge if required. The property is ideally located... More

Over three years ago we decided to make Ambleside our base for a four-day break in the Lake District. Although we had made numerous trips to Cumbria before that, we had never stayed in Ambleside itself. In searching for a guest house there we were extremely lucky to discover Easedale Lodge. On our first visit we discovered that this delightful... More
