Really nice place, very clean, comfortable and included excellent breakfast. Arrived early and due to awful weather our room was made ready earlier than we expected. Location is just off the main street through Cockermouth. We would stay here again.

Lovely welcome from Barbara and was helpful in recommending somewhere for us to eat. Room was brilliant and had everything you possibly needed for a nights stay. Breakfast was fabulous and loads of choice. We will be coming back when we next visit!

We stayed here for 6 nights in the summer of 2016 and found it perfect in every way! We had a family room which was great with a set of bunk beds which the kids loved. Fantastic and friendly breakfast each day to kick things off was always enjoyed! Would recommend thoroughly!

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. Barbara's welcome was warm, a lovely lady, and the room was great. Bathrobes, sweets, toiletries and plenty of tea and coffee were nice touches. The breakfast is fantastic, very varied, sourced locally and superb quality. Specials on a breakfast menu too. Can't praise this wonderful place enough. A perfect base to explore a lovely town.

Stayed for one night and is without doubt one of the best bed and breakfast venues I have ever stayed in. Manager is lovely and knowledgeable about town and restaurants. They definitely recognise the importance of the little details. Would stay again anytime.

We stayed for 4 nights 26-30 September and were made to feel welcome from the start. There was the kettle with teas, coffees and hot chocolate, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, sewing kit and umbrella. The beds were very comfortable with down/feather duvets. Breakfast was a wide selection of dried fruit and nuts, cereals, fresh fruit salad, and cooked breakfast with a...
