The property is lovely, as is one half of the hosts, John. However, the same cannot be said for the other half. I won't go into detail here, but suffice to say she invaded my wife's personal space and subjected to her to an experience that left her frightened and shaken. This is not something I would want anyone else... More

We returned this month (Oct) for 4 nights. i think this must have been the 6th or 7th visit. Easedale (our room) had had an upmarket "tweak" and was very comfortable with new beds, luxury bedding and a large shower room. The view from the room is breathtakingly beautiful - rugged fells and herdwick sheep as far as the eye... More

What a gem of a place this is. Set just on the fringes of the village but just a 5 min walk to the village centre. Idilic surrounding and views to die for. The couple who run the business are super friendly and make you feel so welcome. The interior decor is fantastic. We will be returning again very soon.

A real gem of a find. Absolutely delighted with our stay. Stunning views from our bedroom (Helm Crag). The owners, John and Karen were very helpful and their local knowledge of eateries was most welcome. Grasmere is a picturesque, sleepy village that is perfect for rambles and relaxation. The b&b is tastefully decorated (it could be used for film/tv), attention... More

The Hospitality and attention to detail by owners John and Karen was excellent. The breakfast was the best we've ever been served. The location was ideal, breath taking mountain views and a 4 minute walk from the beautiful village of Grasmere. We will definitely visit again very SOON (if their not booked up)
