Booked 1 night DBB and deeply regretted it as should have booked 2! We stayed in room 9 which is very spacious and well appointed. Bathroom has bath and separate walk in shower. There is a separate dressing area and lots of wardrobe space. My only criticism was that the pillows were too soft and as such I didn't get...

Stayed here the weekend 6th and 7th January with my husband and our 2 dogs. Cannot compliment Anthony and his staff enough. From the moment we arrived until our departure we were made to feel extremely welcome (especially our dogs!). To enable us to have breakfast with our dogs, the staff set up a table in the bar in front...

Bathroom fine with ample hot water, shower over the bath was poor. Have stayed here 3 times before now feel the ground floor rooms require an uplift with better furnishings definite lack of comfy seating. After...

We stayed for a couple of nights before New Year in a room with a four poster bed. As other reviewers have said, the hotel is a little tired around the edges, but the room and bathroom were clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Xmas and I particularly liked the small seating area off...

Stayed the night here on New Year's Eve and on the whole, had a great time. The room though a bit tatty was clean and the bed comfy. Staff are lovely and very friendly. The place itself was warm and welcoming and in a good location. Breakfast was enjoyable but the evening meal lacked any real taste and we felt...
