Our room was bright and clean and beautifully decorated. Our beds were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Our breakfast was delicious. The proprietor was so friendly and helpful. Such lovely lodging!

Had a great one night stay here. The bed was very comfy although the bathroom was pretty small. Would have liked a bit more space. Breakfast was excellent with stunning views out the window of the fells.

Stayed there in Mid June, used as a central base for doing some fellwalking. Upon arrival we were made very welcome, the standard of the room was very good and very clean and despite being located on the main road, traffic noise was almost non-existent. Our room was situated at the back of the house and the surrounding views were...

The double room was immaculately presented, calming, warm and beautifully equipped with everything I could wish for, including a huge mirrored dressing area, excellent storage,...

We stayed at Ivy Dene for 2 nights and would certainly be back again. Reading reviews on here before we had gone we expected a tiny room, and although it was small it was perfectly fine for the pair of us and we didn't feel cramped. We had a nice en suite with a hot shower which again was perfect...
