Stayed at Appletrees for a weekend break. Very welcoming, clean and cosy. Sue is very friendly and does an excellent breakfast, it must be said that the room we chose had the most amazing views of Derwentwater. We will definitely be back.

Ideal place for our initial visit to the Lakes, comfortable room & bathroom with beautiful views over the lake. Lovely breakfast served by Sue with packed lunch available should you wish. Close to town centre but in a quiet location, would definitely visit again

Couldn't fault the place. Spacious room and clean bathroom. Breakfast was high quality produce and not swimming in cheap baked beans that mars so many breakfasts. The Landlady couldn't do enough and was very helpful during our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend and would stay again. PS. If you want to stay out after midnight bring your own mice... More

Excellent views, Sue et al couldn't have been more accommodating, including providing packed lunches for friends who weren't even staying with them. The building is lovely, with amazing views over the water, looking towards Cat Bells. Food is good and there's plenty of it, I recommend this little place wholeheartedly. Rooms are big, free biccies with the tea and coffee... More

Stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting relatives. We were made very welcome by our hosts, who were also very helpful with local knowledge! Our room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of Crow Park and Derwentwater! Breakfast was very good with ample choice for all tastes. Will stay again when in Keswick

This was a great B&B for me as a lone traveller. The accommodation itself was very good. I had a single room, which was larger than I expected. Most single rooms I have stayed in have been just about big enough for the single bed to fit in, but this was a decent size room with its own ensuite shower... More

£80 a night for 2, you couldnt ask for a better location in Keswick. The views out to Derwentwater from the bedroom and breakfast room are a real plus, not often we have had a room with a true view! Location is ideal, with a short walk to the centre of Keswick and a short walk to the Lake. The... More
