We had often stayed in this lovely B&B when it was run by Ian and Sue, and are delighted to say the new owners have the same high standards in cleanliness, warmth, superb breakfasts, a warm welcome, a real interest in guests... Mick and Sue were wonderful hosts, and everything was good. They kept to the Covid rules without them appearing to be a burden, and we will be returning to this home from home.

I haven’t ever written a review on here but we left Eden Green today after such a lovely stay (we should have been in cyprus.....I’m pleased it was cancelled now!) We all drove away with sad faces because we didn’t want to leave! Sue and Mick were such fantastic hosts and we felt so at home! Breakfast was amazing and home bakes cake for our days out was such a lovely touch! Bedrooms spotless and super cosy when it was pouring outside! All Covid measures were in place and we felt super safe. From the mouth of our 8 year old......’this is the best place I have ever stayed’ and we have stayed in some fantastic hotels! We are busy deciding when to come next!

Father (72) and Daughter (40), 3nt stay. Twin room. After a horrible stay in another guest house it was a pleasure to arrive at Eden Green to Sue's friendly face and the offer of homemade fruit cake and a cup of tea - a proper English greeting. All Covid restrictions are adhered too and explained in full. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and well appointed in keeping with the age of the house. We had a twin room with two double beds and fabulous views of Latrigg and Siddaw. There was a small seated tea area in front of the window to sit and enjoy (the cake) after a long walk or rainy day. This room was very spacious with enough space to put all our clothes. Parking is on-street but there was enough space. A cooked breakfast is still being served, cooked freshly by Sue on a daily basis. You are able to pick out exactly what items you want, catering for smaller appetite's as well as large. Sue and Mick also provide a packed lunch to take on your walks. At £6 it is great value and really tasty (sandwich of your choice, crisps, drinks, cake, fruit) Keswick town is a 5mins walk away. Lake 10-15mins and the walks begin within a 15mins walk of Eden Green. It's the small things and the people that make a difference. Homemade cake, slate key-ring (in keeping with the slate mine at Honiton) Sue and Mick remember your names and make you feel like part of their family. They really are the charm of Keswick and the B&B, nothing is too much trouble. They've experienced everything and have a lot of local knowledge from restaurants to walks. Nothing is too much trouble, it never feels like you are bothering them. You know the sign of a good stay when you don't want to leave and look forward to going back.

What a fantastic stay at Eden Green, the hosts Mick and Sue were very welcoming with a short COVID brief and the offer of tea and homemade cake. Our room was lovely and clean with fantastic views of Latrigg and Skiddaw. We had everything you could need including Hot Chocolate sachets. The room also included hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. The breakfast was filling with a variety of choice and if you need a pack lunch I recommend Sue’s. Mick’s knowledge of the Lake District in excellent and assisted us in choosing some lovely walks during our stay. The location is great being 5 mins from Town. Eden Green was the perfect place to relax and we felt very safe especially during these uncertain times. We wholeheartedly recommend and will visit again. Thanks Mick and Sue.
