In my humble opinion, this is the number one guesthouse in Keswick! We have stayed in many others over the years, and Heather and Steve's hospitality cannot be beaten. The only way to start the New Year, and Steve's breakfasts are the only way to start the day - even glasses of Bucks Fizz on New Year's morning - I vote that they should become part of the breakfast menu permanently!! Rooms are clean and full of all the amenities you need, and nothing is too much bother for either Steve or Heather, even in these difficult times. We will be back!! As Arnie would say! Sue & Savid

It is always a pleasure to see you both at Pitcairn House and especially during New Year festivities. Everyone seemed to enjoy the Bucks Fizz at breakfast and we will have to seriously consider whether to add it to our daily menu. Your lovely comments regarding the hospitality of out home are very much appreciated as are all the other kind words regarding your stay. Thank you for taking the time to add us a review and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Best wishes for 2022 and kind regards from Heather and Steve.

Another perfect stay. Heather and Steve are the most warm and welcoming hosts. My partner and I stayed for four nights during the New Years Eve festivities, what a way to end 2021!! Our room was cosy and spotless also we had an upgraded room which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was brilliant as always, thanks for the candles on toast for my partners birthday, such a nice touch.. Had a lovely time in Keswick, we look forward to returning and staying at Pitcairn House soon. Best Wishes for 2022!

It was great that you could join us for the New Year celebrations and think everyone enjoyed starting off the New Year with a glass of bucks fizz at breakfast. Hope Martin was not too embarrased by the birthday toast but the surprise on his face was a picture. Pleased to see you had a "perfect" stay and that you found the upgraded room to your liking, the snow covered mountain view on your last day an unexpected additional bonus. We look forward to seeing you both again soon and wish you all the best for 2022. Kind regards Heather and Steve

We have been visiting Heather and Steve for 10 years now! That should hopefully give an idea of how lovely they and their fantastic place are! The rooms are always spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts are amazing too! Heather and Steve are very welcoming and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending a stay at Pitcairn House. The location is ideally situated within 5 minute walking distance from Keswick centre and a great location to use as a base if walking in the hills. Many thanks again for a wonderful stay as usual!

We had a fantastic stay at Pitcairn House, the hosts (Heather & Steve) are lovely, nothing is too much for them, they provided us with just the right amount of attention without being over the top. Heather and Steve have a great knowledge of the area, they recommended some lovely restaurants and advised us of some fab walks in the local vicinity. The B&B is conveniently located to local amenities and is a mere stones throw from the shops and bars of Keswick. The place is spotlessly clean, I slept like a baby and to top it all off breakfast was delicious!
