Lovely B&B, very clean, in an excellent location (5 mins walk into Keswick with lots of restaurants & pubs) parking included which is a bonus as parking is difficult in the area. The breakfast room overlooks a pretty church-yard which is very pleasant and breakfast was always perfect, Paul is a very welcoming host. Always a perfect stay! Thanks

Stayed at the Strathmore for a couple of nights February, fabulous guest house, very central, short walk into Keswick, 5 mins, overlooking a cute church at the front and amazing views of the mountains to the rear. Great parking to the rear of the B+B, a bonus, lovely room, clean, warm, excellent bed and bedding and all the facilities needed. Paul was a super host and provided an excellent breakfast 10/10, when visiting Keswick definitely book Strathmore, you wont be disappointed 😋

Excellent central location with parking, clean, warm, comfy beds, the best breakfast ever with locally sourced produce, super friendly hosts, opposite a charming church. This is a quintessential English B&B and I cannot recommend it enough.

Lovely hosts and very comfortable accommodation. Bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. Towels nice and soft. Refreshments tray had good variety of choice and choc biscuit was very welcome. Whilst I didn't have the enture massive full breakfast what I did have was perfectly cooked and served. Fresh fruit was very welcome too. Close to centre of Keswick but quiet and away from the crowds outside the pubs. If I come back to stay in Keswick this will certainly be a port of call.

This is a wonderful Guest House situated opposite St John's Church just a short walk from the town centre. There is parking at the rear of the property and Paul manages this very well. We had a lovely room which overlooked the Church and was very comfortable, there was a very good range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate available and plenty of Tunnocks wafers. The breakfast room is lovely and we had the lovely bay window seat looking out towards the Chruch. The room is very tastefully decorated with items from the local area including the placemats which are made from local slate. The breakfast is very impressive and delicious and there is a large selection of cereals, fruit, nuts etc. The cooked breakfasts are delicious and very filling. Paul was a very nice host and was most helpful throughout and answered any questions we had regarding the area. There are some lovely paintings for sale and there is also a bookcase on the first floor filled with a variety of good books. This is a very quiet guest house in a quiet area so perfect as I am a light sleeper. Will definitely go back again next time we visit the Lake District.

The Strathmore is in a great location, a short walk from the town centre & lakeside with a few car park spaces & easy on-street parking. My single room on the top floor was lovely with a view of St Johns Church; comfy bed & easy chair, beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean. A great spread for breakfast including a tasty full English cooked to order. Thanks Paul!

Been coming to Keswick for almost 30 years now and I've stayed in dozens of B&B's but this one stands out as one of the most delicious cooked breakfasts I've ever had! Added to this a nice comfortable bed, a friendly host and a great view from the rear bedroom window and a handy location - what more can you want from B&B?
