Littlefield is in the Victorian part of Keswick and is a beautiful slate building with 4 well appointed ensuite bedrooms with digital TV, tea and coffee making facilities. We are 5 minutes level walk from the town, with its many shops and places to eat and drink. The lake and theatre are a short walk away and many lovely walks start from our door. We pride ourselves on our warm hospitality and welcoming, homely atmosphere.

We stayed at Littlefield for 3 nights over bank holiday weekend in the room Derwentwater. We were greeted by the owner Lance who was very friendly. As always the parking in Keswick is a bit of a nightmare and we were parked right down the street - but this happens in any B&B you

We had an all too brief 3 night stay in this independent Guest House. Our Ensuite top floor room “Derwentwater” was very comfortable with an excellent king size bed, 2 chairs and views of the mountains from the bathroom window. Everything needed was provided, including a fridge

Lance and Sonny the Dog are fabulous B&B hosts. We stayed for 3 nights and Lance couldn't have been more hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic location for walkers that want to walk fells without having to drive and then want head into town for a spot of shopping

Lance made us feel at home and welcome upon arrival. His in-depth knowledge of all the fell hiking paths was invaluable and made for a most productive and enjoyable visit to this special community. It’s the only place we’ll stay if we are fortunate enough to ever return to

We stayed here with Elvis our Greyhound for 4 nights in May, and can highly recommend it! Lance was the perfect host, knowledgeable about the Lake District in general and good walks for whatever level you walk at, and good local vets should you be unfortunate enough to need one!

Do you have a single ensuite room - not more than i flight of stairs?
"They all seemed very good."
"We stayed in the spacious and nicely furnished "Grasmere" - with king-size bed (though can be set-up as a twin, I believe), very powerful shower, but sadly no view."
"We stayed in The Grasmere as it has King size bed."
"Love the top room, think it's Rydal, cosy, clean and fab views."
"There are 4 rooms to choose from of different sizes I gather, ours was small but perfect for our needs - if size matters to you get in touch with Lance to see which room would best suit your requirements :)"
