Undoubtedly the best hotel in Keswick! Lovely rooms, really attentive staff and fantastic restaurant. Have been here several times and wouldn't go past it! Highly, highly recommended. Great location on the Heads overlooking the park and lake, five minute walk into the town centre.

As a last minute getaway my Husband booked this hotel for one night on 29/12/16. He booked via booking.com on 28/12/16 and booked the last room (number 11 on the ground floor) and he paid £100 for 2 people for one night. The website also advertised that we could book a table in their restaurant for the evening and this...

Stayed for three nights from 10th December. The location is great, 5 mins to shops and pubs. Parking at rear of hotel is good. Great choice at breakfast and service was first class. Stayed in room 18 with lake views to front and scenic views to rear. I Would change one thing, at breakfast I would have either music or...

We spent two nights here and were really impressed. Our room, 15, was spacious and well-appointed. Breakfast was cooked to order and nothing was too much trouble. Well located, a short walk from the town centre. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here our first 2 nights in England. We had a twin room on the ground floor - pretty small but we weren't in it very often. The great part about this place is that both breakfast and dinner are included and the food is EXCELLENT with generous portions. It's what I would call a traditional English hotel, with...

Stayed here for 1 night this week and had a lovely night. Lovely, welcoming staff, great 2nd floor room with beautiful view, really good food in the restaurant and a lovely festive feel at this time of year. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly if you're in Keswick!

We have regularly stayed weekends in Keswick over a number of years usually at the George but we decided to try its sister Hotel, Highfield. With a birthday on the close horizon we decided to lash out and go for best, The Woodford Room. Disappointed, no we were not, it was a beautifully laid out, spacious suite with armchairs, widescreen...

Yet another excellent stay at the Highfield. Service first class by dedicated staff. Food still to a high standard. Location is ideal for walks from the hotel into surrounding countryside or into the market square of Keswick.
