After a weekend of shopping and hill running this was the perfect retreat. Very clean and comfortable room with hearty breakfasts each morning. Friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again. Great location too from the town centre.

Hall Garth is a great guest house, this was our second stay in the last 2 years. The house is very warm and welcoming with 3 nice decorated large bedrooms all en-suite. Breakfast is great from full English to cereal, yogurt and fruit. It's good location is only a 5 minute walk into town and 10 to the lake. Will... More

Hosts were very welcoming and bought me up tea cakes and biscuits. Breakfast was well cooked with a great selection of options.... More

Good Location, friendly host, great breakfast, clean and comfortable. However, room not quite as described. The desk for instance is a piece of wood across a recess with no room for a chair, which acts as a bedside table. The chair in the room is jammed behind the door restricting access. I also noted a list of prices at the... More

Excellent value and a great location for exploring Keswick. Very clean and tidy, and a polite and friendly host who provided a super breakfast. Our only reservation was the bed was rather small! Other than that, very highly recommended and we'll definitely stay at Hall Garth again.

We stopped for three nights and had no complaints about this place. Rooms were good and kept very clean, breakfast was very nice even though the cooked breakfast had limited choice, and it was only a 5 minute walk into the town for a meal in the evening. Altogether, a good choice to stay.

This was booked as a last minute night away and we could not have been happier. A comfortable and homely place with fantastic amenities and a very warm welcome. Such an easy walk into the centre of Keswick, and the beautiful view of Skiddaw from the bedroom window. Fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning just the way you want it... More

Wonderful B&B. Perfect in everyway. Very friendly, cosy, spotless, quiet, large room, good location, huge breakfasts. Recommended without any hesitation. We stayed for a week but would have been quiet happy to stay much longer. Ideal for couples.
