We received a very warm welcome from the owners of Leonard's Field House, Neil and Theresa. The entire place is immaculately kept and the rooms are cosy and comfortable with attention to detail. We felt that Neil and Theresa really think carefully about what their guests may need, not only with the amenities and the fantastic freshly cooked breakfasts, but also with the wealth of information on the surrounding areas. Located a short 5/10 minute walk away from the centre of Keswick with free on-road parking, we would have no hesitation in recommending Leonard's Field House for it's location, extremely well-kept accommodation, and the most welcoming and friendly hosts. Thank you Neil and Theresa for a great 3 night stay! Sharon & Barrie.

We have recently returned from a 3 night stay at Leonard’s field house. From the moment we stepped through the door Neil and Theresa made us feel very welcome. We were shown to our room which was very clean and comfortable. At the end of the day we came back to find cake in the room which was a lovely surprise. My partner has coeliac disease however this was not a problem and was he was fully catered for. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely little guest house 5 minutes walk from Keswick central shops and pubs. Neil was friendly and helpful and cooked a nice full breakfast. Came back to the room after a day out to find a selection of handmade chocolates from a local confectioners. Parking was great as we were saved a spot right outside the gueest house. As my wife is Coeliac, everything was gluten free including home made Borrowdale Tea Bread which was delicious. Thanks again.

My husband and I have just returned home from a 3 night break at this amazing B&B. Neil and Theresa were perfect hosts. They were extremely helpful when we wanted advice on Keswick and surrounding areas and the breakfasts were amazing! I have Coeliac Disease and they offered us homemade, gluten free fruit loaf to take out on a walk with us, and we came back to our room another day to find 2 slices of lemon cake! The rooms were immaculately clean and everywhere was spotless. I don't often return to the same accommodation when I go away but I am already planning on booking to stay there again soon.

I stayed here recently for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Neil and Theresa were very accommodating and helpful hosts at all times. The breakfasts were really good with more tea and toast available if required (I’m sure coffee would be too 😉) My room overlooked the road at the front but the sound of traffic was negligible even with the window open. There was plenty of storage space in my room and the facilities were as you would expect. It was just a 5 minute walk down into town, 10 minutes down to the lake and the same to Booths for shopping or the bus station if you are looking to travel around by bus which I did leaving my car parked outside the B & B. I’m looking forward to another stay here in August which I had booked prior to this visit and I’m more than happy to return.

Neil and Theresa provided us with incredible hospitality during our trip to the Lakes. Nothing was too much trouble, and they allowed us to really get the most out of our trip. We can't thank them enough for the extra touches- Neil's baked goods and advice on cycle routes to name a few! We will be back! With best wishes, Alex and Nikki

Visited Keswick during The Mountain Festival and had to change Guest Houses due to a lack of availability. Neil and Theresa managed to fit us in at the last minute. The B&B is very comfortable and the owners are the perfect hosts. Breakfast is cooked to order with local produce and very tasty. Theresa left home made fudge and cake in our room which was a lovely touch. We hope to book again. Thank you.

A very pleasurable stay for 3 nights over Bank Holiday weekend. Neil and Theresa made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They provided us with lots of advice on the local area such as best gluten free places to eat which was invaluable. The gluten free breakfasts were the best we have ever had. The little touches such as gluten free lemon cake and fudge we came back to in our rooms were very special. Overall it couldn't have been a more perfect stay.

Love coming here on holiday. Neil and Theresa are always the perfect hosts. The B&B is spotlessly clean with a great breakfast menu too suit everybody including coeliac. If you have any questions about walks and tourist attractions Neil and Theresa are a mine of information. There is still hand sanitizing on entry and masks on the stairwell ,unless exempt. The House is only minutes from the town centre and local amenities. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. Looking forward to next year.

We have just returned from a few days staying with Neil and Theresa at their lovely guest house in a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. Our en-suite room included a very comfortable bed, table & chairs and adequate storage space. Our hosts were charming and friendly always keen to chat and assist with any enquiries we put to them. They also provided little touches such as tea, coffee and biscuits in the room every day with an occasional piece of cake! There are excellent Covid safety measures in place within the guest house which gave us confidence from the moment we arrived. There were plenty of options available for breakfast which set us up fully for our days out. This included cold and hot drinks, cereal choices and a range of other hot food to choose from. Neil offered us useful advice on walking routes that would suit our capabilities. He had also advised us to book our evening meals in advance of our stay which proved invaluable as the town was particularly busy over the weekend period during our stay. In summary, just a great place to stay for a break in Keswick.
