Just had 3 nights at greystones, absolutely lovely stay, very organised, and absolutely thought of everything to keep everyone safe, sanitizer in rooms, spotless everywhere, very friendly and beautiful breakfast with lots of choice, nobody enters your room, if you need anything i.e towels ,coffee/tea, just ask and its left outside your door can't fault this lovely bed and breakfast at all... on a down side, keswick was very strange, have to book/ queue to get into shops/ resaurants/pubs..so be aware! Stay safe... chelle and didi harrison..

Date: 16 August: Pax: 2 Price: £86 for 1 night in an en-suite double Driving up from York on Sunday 16 August thought we'd stop in to Keswick for one night en-route to Scotland. However, rooms were like gold dust and after almost giving up we managed to find a double at Greystones. Handily located just 5 minute walk from the centre of Keswick the building is a traditional Lakeland build with a beautiful frontage. On arrival, the host was informative, helpful and very friendly. Covid hygiene protocols were clearly in place and this was good for us after some very poor experiences in York. The room was bright and very well set out and whilst it didn't have spectacular views, they were pleasant enough overlooking the church. Breakfast was one of the best I'd had in many years of Lake District trips with the bacon tasting superb. Service, as at reception, was professional and friendly. Another couple of plus points; the en-suite has a night light that is a bonus at night to save switching the light on and waking up your better half, and the Mira shower has made me consider renewing ours for the same model. Fantastic water pressure. We've already agreed that when we're back next year in Keswick we'll be staying here. Excellent all round. My only gripe, and this is a personal preference, is that I'd have preferred a much firmer mattress.

A short two night visit with walking friends. From check in to check out could not fault this B&B. Bedrooms decorated and fitted out to high standard, with on-suite to match, shower was particularly good, as were toiletries. Plenty of sockets, large flat screen tv, plenty of storage, large tray for footwear, tea/coffee making facilities For walkers there is a great “drying” room with large sink for washing boots and radiator to dry them on. There is a large guests lounge, with more tea/coffee making facilities. The location is excellent with only short walks to town and amenities and the lake. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices from cereals, fruits, yoghurts and a cooked menu. The “full English” was enough to satisfy any walker setting out into the hills and fells, lots of freshly prepared and tasty ingredients.

Visited for 2 nights with 3 friends to do some walking. Very comfortable, clean and friendly with an excellent breakfast. I would recommend Greystones to anyone wanting a relaxing and comfortable break in a central location in Keswick.
