On arrival was greated by JoAnne who was very welcome and helpfull. We had a lovely stay in the pod and was very cozy with the underfloor heating. Great for a relaxing weekend away (even with the bad weather). The pod was lovely and clean and a good location for exploring the lake district.

Beautiful B&B in the lake district. My wife and I only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. If I remember correctly the farmhouse dates back to 17th century. Joann was friendly and a great cook. The cooked breakfast in the morning was superb and especially the cumbrian sausage! The room was private, cosy and quite large....

Very good value on working farm . JoAnne is an excellent cook and there are several "to order" breakfasts! Quiet and clean . Easy walks in beautiful countryside nearby and good pub. Children can feed the chickens. Be sure to check where to turn off main road! (We were lost !) Hope to return one day.

A lovely location and was just what I was looking for. JoAnne was a fantastic host. I liked the extra homely touches and there was even cake waiting for me in my room. Everybody loves cake! The breakfast was spot on and the bread was fantastic. I believe it was home made. You can even take cake, crisps, water etc...

Myself and my young daughter stayed here for the weekend as I thought it would be a lovely change from the town we live in for her to experience life on a working farm. JoAnne let her feed the chickens ( who are hilarious when they run ), she saw lambs, cows and calves. The surrounding area was so peaceful...

We had a really good time as the room was really comfortable and perfect for family with kids. There were even some toys in the room which kept our toddler occupied. After the wonderful breakfast, we were able to feed the farm animals and enjoyed a stroll to a nearby stream. Overall I would recommend this place especially to family...

What a fantastic welcome by Joannne, what you see is what you get, real people, real food and a real farmhouse. The trip was part of my birthday celebration and Joanne made us a chocolate cake to die for on arrival. The room was lovely and cosy with its own en-suite and stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Breakfast is...
