We would definitely recommend this family run establishment, Rob and Becky and their staff were wonderful, nothing too much trouble, very close to Bowness and Windermere town centre. They recommended a few places to eat and we tried out a few, Brookside public house and Lake Raj were exceptional!

We have just had a 2 night stay in room 7, the room although compact was just lovely, exceptionally clean and very comfortable with every thing you need. Perfect location to walk to either Windermere or Bowness and was lovely to leave the car behind. Becky and her family were extremely warm and welcoming in to there B & B....

We booked room 7 and we were greeted by Becky and her lovely children. Room was so clean spacious and quiet. Great location, facilities, excellent breakfast and overall a lovely stay in Windermere. You really feel like your staying at a family members house but at the same time left to enjoy your trip! Becky's children are so lovely and...

We stayed at Ellebrook House between Christmas and New Year. We stayed in the family / 3 bed room. The room was well appointed with a sink in the room and private WC/shower just of the landing. The owner was very welcoming and was able to offer plenty of advice on local attractions. On street parking wasn't a problem at...

5 night stay, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Very comfortable room with great amenities. Rob and Becky (the owners) were very attentive and made our stay perfect. The breakfasts were amazing too! We will definitely be returning. I could not recommend this B&B enough and Windermere is an great place to visit.

First time at this lovely guesthouse and it certainly will be our first port of call when we return to Winderemere. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast each morning was fantastic. The most important part of our stay were the owners Robert and Becky. They are lovely welcoming people and really went out of their way to...

Stayed here for my birthday overnight which to my delight were balloons, banners, a chilled bottle of prosecco and local chocolates which the owners were happy to help my girlfriend set up for my birthday before my arrival. Clean, comfortable, very friendly and lovely cooked breakfast to start the day. Would highly recommend.

This is a family home in the middle of Windermere, very close to the town centre and is a great jumping off spot to tour the Lake District. The owners are very welcoming, the room was comfortable and spotless, and breakfast had many options to choose from. We would very much recommend it.

Disappointed w/this B & B. Bed was very uncomfortable, no box spring, older mattress on metal rails. Owner's children were bouncing on our bed when we checked in, interrupting Mother as she was explaining everything to us, frequently loud in the house. Breakfast was the best part. Can walk to Windemere. Parking is out on the street, first come, first...

Booking a late trip like we did is always a bit of a gamble, but we found ourselves a little gem at ellerbrook house. We were in room 6 which is a cosy little room at the back of the house. All mod cons beautifully presented, with a lovely shower, ideal for a short break. The owners were really friendly,...
