We've stayed 4 nights at this wonderful guesthouse. Everything was nice and it felt like home and we highly recommend for everybody who wants peaceful and quiet break. Breakfast was soooo tasty and we could smell the bacon from the top of the stairs...yummy... The room was very clean, warm, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable... Overall it was a nice staycation. Thank you Phill & Rick.

We were so lucky to find this little haven. We got a lovely warm welcome when we arrived. The place is so clean and well maintained. Breakfast is so good it set us up for the day. The room was very bright and the bed very comfortable. We actually stayed an extra night. Would definitely recommend this and we will be going back on our next trip to the Lakes.

Just returned from a last minute 2 night break away at the Ellerdene. Location: 2 minutes from bars and restaurants. Across the road from the park, which is great for dog owners. Price: very good for time of year and location. Room: stayed in Room 2, which is described as a small double room, but it was perfect size for a 2 night stay. En suite, with a little fridge in the room. Bed very comfortable and lovely fresh clean linen. Breakfast: great choice, that you choose the night before. Tasty and freshly cooked. Cereals, fruit and yoghurt available too. Parking: plenty of free street parking. If you can't find a spot outside, try the adjoining streets, and you'll probably find somewhere (make sure you check that it's not a street that is resident parking). Overall, a lovely stay, with great owners who have done their utmost to comply with new regulations, under Covid restrictions. Will recommend and will return. Keep in mind this is a dog friendly hotel, which was great for us, and every other guest had dogs with them too, but might not be for everyone.
