Stayed here on Saturday with friends. The place itself was very good. Well appointed bedrooms, clean, Tidy, roomy. Breakfast cooked to order with very polite helpful staff in attendance. We were all sat around the gas fire enjoying a drink, when the owner/manager came up and turned the fire off. When one of our party challenged this he turned round...

The Willowsmere depends much on the friendly ownership and service of two cousins which will do whatever they can to be of help with a smile and courtesy. The hotel itself is well located in a beautiful quiet area just 10 minutes walk from town and another 10 minutes walk on the other way to the lake and a beautiful...

My husband and I visited the Willowsmere Inn for a weekend trip with my adult son and his wife. The inn was quiet, cozy, nicely decorated and very clean. We had a spacious room with an en-suite bath. The view from our window overlooked a pretty garden in the back. The garden was accessible to guests from the downstairs sitting...

Ideal place to explore the surrounding area from especially if you want to walk up to Orrestt view point which is a must do. Very helpful owners, room was cleaned daily with fresh water tea and coffee, great choices for breakfast, will definitely book here again and will recommend to friends wishing to stay in Windermere.

We stayed here recently for a short break and were made to feel very welcome. The ground floor bedroom was exactly what we needed and the accessible entrance very close by would be perfect for anyone requiring accessible access. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely be back!

I thought there would be no problem booking accommodation in the Lake District for a weekend in October; how wrong I was. Plus that which was available had poor reviews on TA so when I came across Willowsmere that had availability and good reviews (and becoming desperate) I booked two twin rooms. From that first conversation to the final farewell,...

Three of us stayed here and it worked out well. Comfortable rooms with all expected conveniences. It's not luxury, but everything was covered off. Nice breakfast with friendly and efficient staff. Not sure I could ask for any more from a B&B. Would try and stay in rooms off the main road if possible. Mine was quiet but my friends...

We had a two night mid week stay at the Willowsmere, probably the best mid priced B and B we've ever stayed at. We arrived an hour before first check in. A problem? Not at all. Checked in with a freshly brewed pot of tea and given info on nearby walks, restaurants and even the best taxi. (We did them...
