Hello, I am sure you will enjoy your visit in November but as for the dining we have only ever experienced the meal that was on the menu. The meals are exquisite but very "rich" but I am sure if you asked the Chef would make you something you could eat and enjoy. This hotel is superb and nothing is too much bother, they cook meals for my grandchildren which are quite basic so I am sure if requested you would be able to have your own requirements.

How far does it take to reach scafell pike from the hotel?
I can't be sure, as we didn't go there. Be aware that traffic around the Lake District is very heavy particularly in peak season, so in peak times don't expect a car trip of less than 30 minutes.

The staff would bring - just ask for housekeeping at reception and they will definitely help.

Hi is you spring menu the same every evening
Hi there, Yes the spring four-course menu is the same each night throughout the spring. This is to avoid the inevitable wastage when changing menus. We do have a bar meal menu also and guests are welcome to eat at one of our sister hotels which are within walking distance, they have completely different menus which is nice if you would like a change.
