A great place to stay immaculate friendly hotel with beautiful rooms and great service , Richard is a good host and you want for nothing full English for breakfast with proper sausages and real mushrooms not tinned you sometimes get in other hotels

Stayed here for 3 nights can't find one negative thing to say about this place. Friendly staff, very helpful owner, Richard who was happy to help with any questions. Room was on the third floor and was clean, well decorated, nice hospitality tray, some nice touches in the room often only found in larger more expensive hotels. Good to have...

Well worth a stay here, Richard, a friendly host, Kinga a very chirpy waitress /housekeeper! Room was perfect as was breakfast! Very central for shops and rail/bus station, although situated on a private side road so no traffic noise! Will definitely be back*****

Received a very friendly welcome. Room very comfortable and clean with 2 easy chairs and good sized television. Breakfast was excellent. The homemade jams, yogurt and bread were delicious. We have just returned from once again a lovely weekend at wheatlands lodge. Some friends came with us for the first time and even said that they would return.
