Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for my first time visiting Blackpool and it is a real gem. The rooms are decorated in a clean and modern style with tea / coffee(coffee machine). With covid they don't service your room whilst your staying however if there is anything you need they sort it out straight away ( fresh towels, more tea bags etc.) They don't have a communal breakfast room however do provide 'takeaway' style of breakfast sandwiches to your room which I preffered. You just drop them a text and they deliver straight to your room. The beds are so comfortable, I'm not the best sleeper and slept straight through 3 nights in a row (I will be upgrading my mattress to the ones they have!).
The owners Paul and Rob are wonderful and offer great advice on where to go in Blackpool, they provide a information booklet in your room on restaurants etc which we followed and each one was fabulous. There is no parking however the central carpark is 30 seconds walk down the road, we were in a front facing room and could see the car in the car park. Hoping to book again to see the illuminations.

Thank you so much Sally for your lovely comments and a 5 star review. Great to hear you had the best nights sleep, we have the same mattresses in our rooms as the one we sleep on. We cannot wait to see you again later in the year for the illuminations! A pleasure to meet you both. Many thanks, Paul & Rob

Lovely place and lovely friendly hosts. Situated in a great location.
We decided to visit here last minute whilst sitting in a country pub and flicking through places to visit. Rang the lodge and they were very helpful and accommodating.
What a lovely place. We had the King suite which had its own little terrace downstairs with table and chairs, which was great as we took the dog. The owners even moved their car so I could park mine in their space and I didn't have to pay for parking. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean with a nice comfy bed, comfy pillows, lovely carpets, and the bathroom was spotless too. It was nice that it had a 'propa shower' that had good water pressure as some places have a shower where the water dribbles, but this was great. Also had a small fridge with tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities and fresh clean towels. We will be staying here again in the near future 😊 thank you for a great stay, can't wait to come back, see you soon 😄

We stayed for 3 nights from Thursday to Sunday and we loved the location which was 4 or 5 mins walk from North pier and the town centre and also the nearest tram stop was only 5 minutes walk away. The room was extremely clean and nothing was too much trouble for Paul or Rob. We drove up from Plymouth and there was a car park 1 minute walk away which was very reasonably priced and safe to leave your car there for 3 days. Great stay and would recommend to anyone!

My wife and I stayed in Room 5 (Kingsize bed) that overlooked the front of the Guest House. It was a lovely clean room with plenty of space. Ultra comfy bed and a compact but modern shower toilet en suite.
It is in a brilliant location for the city centre and the beach. Blackpool may be a faded seaside town but it's redevelopment has already seen some great changes.
There might not be breakfast but there are plenty of places to grab a meal nearby. Please note; there is no on street parking but a reasonably priced public carpark at the bottom of the street
The hosts are warm and friendly. They will help with recommending places to visit, eat and drink.
We will be back in summer!

From our arrival to our departure the hosts was there to greet us and made us feel very comfortable. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy too. Towels included and even your own sanitiser to takeaway 😉 It’s perfectly located in the central area of Blackpool, close to car park, shops and the pier. We’ll be back soon and couldn’t recommend this place enough 👍🏼 xx

From the minute you arrive Rob and Paul make you feel welcome, the facilities are clean and the beds are comfy and even with the recent heat we had a great nights sleep.
The location is perfect with very reasonable parking a 30 second walk and only a 5 minute walk to central pier or the town centre.
The hotel was full but the clientele that use this place are fun but respectful so we had no disturbances at all and had a great weekend visiting several places at their recommendation.
This truly is a little gem and I will definitely visit again. 5 stars isn’t enough…thanks again. Ryan.

Me and my wife stopped in Bella Vista for one night and were extremely impressed! The hosts were super friendly and quite clearly good, hardworking kind people.
The room and B&B itself were probably the cleanest I’ve ever stopped in in Blackpool!
You are unable to park outside the B&B but there’s a car park just around the corner which is £8 for 24 hours. Cheaper than many of the other car parks in Blackpool!
Oh and the location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from Coral Island.
Thankyou so much, looking forward to staying again soon xxx

Firstly met by the team Rob and Paul on check in. Swift and friendly and showed us to our part of the house. The benefit to this guest house is that we were situated in our own fabulous and Spacey room in the basement which had its own entrance. Perfect for not disturbing other guests after a late night enjoying Blackpool's bars. They are a couples and families only venue which is great as it keeps the place feeling that bit more special. The room had a lovely big comfortable bed and great pillow selection. I am a terrible sleeper and I loved the high end bedding and comfortable mattress. The room had a great selection of complimentary items and a Nespresso machine. Not the old version a new virtuoso version. Top tip for this room is go to the shop and buy a pint of milk as they have equipped the room with a nice size fridge and the Nespresso machine has a milk aerator for amazing cappuccinos. Towels were fresh and fluffy lots of storage and an ironing board and iron. Bathroom was perfect for the room and totally private. LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay and will definitely be back to stay with these lovely lads. Thank you for having us and making our stay great.

I recently surprised my Fiancée with a two day vacation staying here in the basement king room.
On our arrival we were greeted by Paul and shown downstairs to our room. We had our own door entrance into our room. On opening the door I can only describe the room as wow. My Fiancée said she felt like a Princess having the opportunity staying here. Also saying this would be a lovely room for a honeymoon/bridal suite(time for me to run lol).
On our bed was a welcome to Bella Vista Lodge book containing information about the B&B, introduction to the staff, places to go etc really lovely touch.
Also in the room there were complimentary crisps tea coffee hot chocolate water n biscuits which were replenished daily. This place really has thought of everything!!!!.
Now to the room....
The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and most certainly made our vacation The best one yet.
The bed was very comfy also which in some places we have stayed haven't been the best.
The toilet/shower room was also a good size which is another plus.
The stairs leading down to this peaceful tranquil haven are authentic but my advice just hold the railings and you will get up n down with ease.
The staff couldn't be more friendly n helpful nothing was a bother to them they go above and beyond to make your stay the best.
We will definitely be coming back to here.
I feel giving this a 5⭐ review is to little as I would give it a 10⭐.
Honestly if visiting Blackpool coming here is a must.
Location of this Haven is close to the seafront just a five minute walk through Bonny Street car park and your at the seafront tower isn't far about 5-10 minute walk from shops.
