Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

we only had a single night but i can thoroughly recommend this b and b. hosts extremely friendly and the accommodation is lovely and comfortable. a wee bit away from the main attractions but there is a tram stop a few minutes walk away. we arrived at blackpool north train station and took no 3 bus to arrive at the b and b. i understand there is a new tram terminus opening there which will make it even easier getting here. we were kindly given an upgrade to our room and enjoyed looking out from a lovely bay window. fairly inexpensive as well, the owners can definitely justify raising their rates for the clean and comfortable lodgings provided with a very tasty breakfast included..

By far the best bed and breakfast I've stayed at in Blackpool. The owners can not do enough for you from when you arrive until you leave. I was in room 6 on the top floor and the room is spotless. It has its own bathroom across the corridor and again spotless, excellent shower and plenty of soft towels. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate in your room with also bottled water. The breakfast was fresh and ready for you in the morning as its pre booked the night before. The owners are so accommodating eve waiting up late if I arrive after work to check in. Would not book anywhere else.

The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay as they made our stay feel like a home away from home. The room incredibly clean and spacious which was perfect for our our one year old to crawl around in. They also provided a travel cot for our son which made things very easy as we travelled by train, saving us a lot of hassle brining our own. The shower facilities were great and the bed was very comfortable. Our breakfast was very nice with a wide array of options for ourselves and child, which we all enjoyed. If we ever stay overnight in Blackpool again there isn’t anywhere I’d rather stay.

We stayed here for only one night (sadly) martin and Sue were great hosts, nothing a trouble. We were in room 2 which had been recently refurbished and it was immaculate, lovely touches with tissues, chocolate biscuits, toiletries were also provided in the super clean bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, no cheap brand cereals here ! We will definitely stay here again, well recommended. Excellent value!

We stayed in one of the top rooms, in a dated room (the refurbs going on look great!) but ensuite and everything we needed. Service checking in and at breakfast was great - felt really welcome. Family had managed to get ill, but they were very understanding and helpful. Helped us when feeling low! There was a bit of parking outside, or down adjacent roads, which is good as it looks busy everywhere! I am very sad I missed the full English breakfast (being ill) as it looked great, toast isn't the same! You fill in a form on arrival, with toast and cereal help yourself. Seemed a good setup. Thanks for the stay!

I booked The Kimberley last minute (the day before) for one night. We stayed in room 6 on the top floor on 23rd September. Our room was newly decorated and has a separate but private bathroom a couple of steps across the landing. You will not believe the value for money at the Kimberley - we were blown away! The room has a large double bed, well stocked tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, packs of tissues, chocolate biscuits (😊), flat screen TV, wardrobe, dressing table, is a good size and tastefully decorated. The bed is firm but very comfortable. The separate bathroom is private to you, it's a good size, has a shower, wash basin and toilet. Toiletries, towels and towelling robes are provided. Breakfast was amongst the best I've ever had - choices of full English plus fruit pots, yogurts, cereals, toast plus fruit juices and tea and fresh coffee. The full English was cooked to perfection and the quality and portion sizes were very good. The entire place is spotlessly clean and the hosts are very helpful and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

I stayed here for one night on Wednesday 14th September 2022. I visit Blackpool every so often in order to get some sea air and enjoy long walks along the front, away from my demanding job.  I have always loved the place. However, I've always struggled to find good accommodation when visiting alone and on a tight budget if my wife is working. I found this via Booking.com and called to get the best price. The lady who answered, Maude was very pleasant and helpful. The price was £35.00 for the night including a full breakfast. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, based on past experiences. I am pleased to say that my fears were totally unfounded. The location is perfect in one of the quietest streets I've ever stayed in Blackpool, not even any annoying Seagulls waking me up at 5am.  I parked outside on the road without any problems. On entering I was greeted by one of the owners, Martin who was very warm and welcoming and showed me to my room. I had one of the newly decorated rooms and it was absolutely brilliant. Very well set out with everything you need, but most importantly for me this place is CLEAN! I had my own good size private bathroom with a good shower and facilities, again this was very clean. The breakfast was at 9am, which is a good time rather than 8am which is way too early for me.  I was served by Martin and his lovely wife Sue, and it was absolutely delicious, great quality ingredients and all very hot. Again, the dining room and all the facilities were spotlessness clean. I actually felt guilty for paying just £35.00 so offered more, which was given to charity instead of the owners keeping it, which says a lot about these lovely people whom own this establishment.  Sue, Martin and Maude were so kind, so attentive and helpful that it was an absolute pleasure to meet them all. People like these really do deserve to prosper in life and they run an excellent business with amazing value for money. I will most definitely be returning and would highly recommend to all and thank them very much for all their hard work.

We stayed on Easter Saturday for one night in order to meet up with some friends who were up from The Midlands for the weekend. I found The Kimberley on Booking.com after The Premier Inn our friends were staying in asked for £180 for one night. What a find ! Comfortable, well equipped room, spotlessly clean, friendly hosts, all followed by a first class breakfast on Sunday morning. Minor drawback is the parking lottery, with on street parking only, we had a five minute walk to where we had parked - but the weather was fine so it wasn’t an issue. In short, a first class B & B offering great value for money.
