We stayed at the park 12-16th October this year. The park itself is absolutely fine but our experience with how the company deals with lost property is an altogether different kettle of fish. On arrival home, we realised that one of the kids had left their switch case and games in the caravan. We instantly called to leave a message as we honestly believed it would have been handed in. It was clearly an error on our part but we reassureed the wee one that someone will have picked it up and handed it in so not to worry. Many calls the next day and nothing. We knew from speaking to the front desk that no other family had taken over the caravan when we left as the cleaners were going to check the caravan as part of their standard cleaning rounds. I eventually got a definite 'no, it's not there' around 3pm. It was not a good conversation to have with the child as she couldn't understand how it was missing if it was left in the caravan. I emailed customer services who said that a thorough search had been carried out and they didn't expect it would now turn up. They also stated that their cleaning staff were trustworthy, had been with them years and had no doubt of their honesty. This is where I start to find things difficult. A flat  denial makes sense for a low value item. For something costly, like a switch case and games, surely you would want to investigate this thoroughly?  The fact remains that at 10am we left the case in the caravan and called in the loss at 7pm.  Between 10am and the next day when the cleaning crew went in, something has happened to make it 'disappear '. From a business perspective, this shouldnt be ignored, it should be investigated.. It's our fault for leaving it. I know that. We will not be returning to Newton Hall as we have no trust in the staff. I sent a second email after the first to check to see if them item had turned up and to advise I would be leaving this review. It was unanswered, which speaks volumes. In short, decent caravan but be doubly sure to pack up everything vrgkre you leave.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a TripAdvisor review. We are sorry that on this occasion we didn't meet your expectations, our usual feedback is really positive so it's sad to hear about your experience with us. We apologise that this occurrence affected your time with us. After looking into the incident, we can confirm that the housekeeping staff and the Newton Hall management team performed several thorough searches of the caravan in an attempt to recover the lost property. Unfortunately, the park did not find the Nintendo Switch case and games on this occasion. Once again, we apologise that your experience did not match your expectations.

Just back from our 1st stay at Newton Hall, booked a gold caravan (located in Garnet), couldn’t fault it, clean, modern, spacious with a small deck out the front & a lovely view of Blackpool Tower! We were opposite the play/football park which was ideal for my children, park is locked at night which is good so no noise at night from the park. The Entertainment in the Family room from Simon & his team was fantastic (considering the current climate) varied and kept all of us entertained and involved. Visited the swimming pool once which was clean and well organised, the lifeguard (didn’t get his name) was very informative about the pool depths etc and a lovely guy. Had fish & chips from the onsite chippy, was delicious & reasonable priced. All the staff at Newton Hall were friendly & welcoming, we’ve stayed at other holiday parks in Blackpool in the past and by far this one has been the best, just wish we knew out about it sooner! We’ll definitely be back!

8th consecutive visit to the park. Cant fault the place. In really tough times of restrictions and limitations they were able to deliver good family fun while adhering to all guidelines. Felt very safe throughout. DJ Simon superb again, really makes the entertainment. Not many nights out I'd rush to get to with a 5pm start but with his disco, you do. Kids love every second and never want to leave the park. Also special mention to Ben the lifeguard, excellent customer service. Staff remember faces and names of kids which makes a real difference. Great family feel. See you again for year 9 in 2021. Keep up the good work.

Staff and so helpful and friendly, apartments are extremely clean and well maintained and DJ Simon provides amazing entertainment for both kids and adults.
