Arrived Wednesday, the room was waiting as we arrived at midday,we were met by Lee and Ursula who are both very friendly and accommodating,we were told about their services available, offered assistance with our bags to the rooms,a rare thing these days.
Beautiful spacious rooms with en-suite facilities, towels and toiletries provided.
The bed was very comfortable and gave a good nights sleep, the noise was minimal to say they are just off the sea front 🙂.
The morning arrived and feeling refreshed we went down for breakfast, the dining room was well presented and clean, met with a smiling good morning, each room as it’s own table set up ready,we were offered the choice of tea or coffee both fresh n very hot ,fresh orange juice was also provided at each table, the options for breakfast are plentiful based over 2 courses, starter and cooked menu, both presented to a high standard and of excellent quality, hence empty plates all mornings .😋😋
The staff and establishment are commendable as nothing was too much for them, always happy to help and always smiling ,this was our second stay and we will definitely be returning,
Overall it’s a little gem in a great location central to everything on offer,

A warm welcome and a very modern and clean B&B.
The room was clean and had everything that was needed for an excellent stay.
Good
Location and less than a minutes walk to the sea front.
Street parking outside the front of the B&B made it perfect and excellent value for money.
A first class breakfast and service in the morning - perfection, we will return !!

Myself and my friend have just returned from two nights at the Redstone yesterday and what a place it was. As two women in our mid 20’s who enjoy travelling around the U.K., we have on a couple of occasions found B&B owners to be slightly judgemental towards us regarding our age telling us at check in to keep the noise down if we go out (we’re not big drinkers at all.) However, this was not the case at Redstone. We were greeted by Ursula who was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Pros- immaculately clean, lovely breakfast and free parking located just a few doors away from the hotel (we saved a small fortune just from this!) All staff at the hotel are incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Ursula also makes brownies fresh every day and leaves them in reception to help yourself (some of the nicest brownies I’ve ever had.) Tea and coffee facilities with plenty available. The bathroom was so nice that my friend said when she buys a house she’d like to replicate that bathroom!

Cons- none

If we return to Blackpool we’ll definitely be coming back to the Redstone and I’ll be recommending to family and friends. Thank you for a lovely stay

First impression as you walk in is “wow” very chic. Everything looks very clean and impressive, as it should for a 5 Star guest house. Check in was fine and easy although parking was a minutes walk away.
The room was average considering it was 5 star, the carpet by the bathroom door had large threads coming out and the shower itself whilst functional, looked grubby due a poor repair in the shower floor. The bed was very comfortable but for the awful headboard. It’s very design with an overhanging top meant it was impossible to to simply sit up in bed and chill. The two really bad points with the room were, how difficult it was to open the door, dangerous if in a real hurry and the view straight into the rooms of the guesthouse next door.
The bar, we were told, wasn’t open our first night so we headed out for our evening meal and had a drink or two out. The next morning was when we started looking at things, the previous wow was becoming more of a “not so wow”
Breakfast the first morning was nice, adequate yet also a little disappointing, having picked this venue following its success in wining Chanel 4’s “Four in a Bed” program, I think it fair to expect the level of breakfast as presented on the program, which sadly it wasn’t. The waitress was very good although difficult to understand and I think that may be the reason there was very little contact with guests.
On return to our room late afternoon we found the room had been serviced as you’d expect all bar a quick run around with a vacuum (the carpet frays still there and crumbs from the cake the evening before) and the cups just rinsed in the sink. The Bar? Well that remained firmly closed.
The next mornings breakfast was a little less enjoyable than the first, cold croissant, hard eggs.
When we returned to our room in this evening the room hadn’t been entered, no tea, coffee, milk replenishment, bed untouched etc, everything as we’d left it, so a trip out again as the bar was still closed remembering to grab fresh supplies of tea coffee and auger from downstairs on our return. The final morning and breakfast was ok although there’d been no breakfast sheet given the day before so we texted our request and hoped, croissants were beautiful and hot as was everything we ordered although the baked beans were barely warm and tasted foul.
Overall our experience was that which you would expect at a cheap seaside B&B, no way is this a 5 Star accommodation. Little touches like cake left out for guests to help themselves was nice, albeit the same piece of cake sat there for two days. But the total lack of contact between staff and client went a long way to making us feel less welcome which was a real shame. No doubt things have been allowed to slip a little which is a shame as it really could be awesome with just a few small adjustments.

Just returned from a 1 night stay at the Redstone and I can’t really put into words how wonderful this place is. From the moment you stepped into the place to the moment you left they couldn’t do enough for you, from
Suggestion for places to eat to best places to park.

There was free welcoming Chocolate Brownies and an honesty Bar.

The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable which included complementary teas/coffees/waters and biscuits.

The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

Will definitely not stay anywhere else in Blackpool other than the Redstone.

Many thanks.

You won’t find a nicer hotel than this in Blackpool. It is lovely!! Great location, about 4 tram stops from North Pier, literally 1 minute walk from the seafront.
The rooms are beautiful, super comfy beds, lovely bathrooms. Very quiet location too. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had, all included in a very reasonable price.
The lovely Ursula is so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The nice touches such as her freshly baked cakes, and honesty bar, if you wish to use it, are nice extras. Thank you so much for a great stay, we will certainly be back :) x

Arrived to a warm reception from Ursula the owner with delicious homemade coffee and walnut cake on offer.Shown to our room (6) which was beautiful with a king size bed, and all the luxuries like big fluffy towelling robes and slippers, luxury toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary biscuits and bottled water. The bathroom had a beautiful walk in shower. Breakfast was in the very tastefully decorated dining room with plenty of choice from cereal and berries to smoked salmon and poached eggs to a full english. I only tried the full english which was cooked to perfection.
I cannot praise this establishment enough as I have stayed in hotels all over the world through work and holidays yet this is as good as any 5* hotel I have stayed in.
Thank you Ursula for a most pleasant experience and if ever in Blackpool again would love to stay with you.

From start to finish our stay at the red stone was perfect, a clean bedroom with fresh comfy bed sheets , little touches such as fresh clean dressing gowns, tea/coffee, biscuits , straighteners and a hair dryer make all the difference. The breakfast included was amazing and plenty of choice, location of the guest house was perfect , in between north and south promenade! Lastly the free brownies available where the best I’ve ever tasted! We had a fab weekend for my daughters birthday! Highly recommend this guest house.

I originally booked this accommodation last October but had to cancel due to lockdown. So glad we got the chance to rebook for a 2 night stay.

Every single area of this accommodation is spotless and well maintained.

The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable. Comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding and soft furnishings.

We were lucky enough to get the room on the top floor at the front so had a view of Blackpool Tower and the sea.

You are asked to pre order breakfast which is served in a lovely dining room. It was cooked to perfection.

Ursula bakes a daily cake which is freely accessible- we enjoyed an apple cake and banana bread whilst we were there.

Ursula and all the staff were lovely and accommodating

Can not wait to return to stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Blackpool

Had the pleasure of a 2 night stay in this wonderful property. Our room was number 8 and it did not disappoint.
Ursula txt us the night before to say our room would be ready earlier than expected, which we really appreciated as we driving from York.
When checking in Leigh was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean and also cleaned every day, we had slippers and robes in the room and also bottled water lovely teas coffees and gorgeous shortbread. Every day we appreciated the beautiful homemade cake.
The breakfast was amazing, all fresh good produce, plenty of choice too.
Would definitely recommend this B&B to our friends and family as it was a great location to the promenade. Both nights when we returned from dinner we had a night cap in the very trendy bar which was beautifully decorated and well priced.I know we won’t stay anywhere else when we return.

There is a fridge in reception where you are offered refreshments upon arrival but no bar as such .. no. We ate at Nando's in the Town Centre as we were next door at the Winter Gardens .. Im sure you'll find some good restaurants on here?

Good Evening, sorry for the delay in replying......Yes...its further along the same road on the left when driving from the golden mile left into Alexander Road, behind another guest house where the owners and Ursula have an agreement, you will get a windscreen marker to display. We've parked there many times and have had no issues. Hope this is useful to you :)
