This hotel is in a great location but also an ideal place to stay for families, one of things that makes it stand out is the fact of how friendly the couple were, as we arrived to our room the lady noticed that the heating was not on in our room so she put it on for us, as we stayed here for 2 days i thought it was an excellent hotel as considering how close it is to the town centre there was no external noise. after reading all the other reviews i thought there must be some faults but i could not find any. i would book here again the next time i come to Blackpool.

It's really nice to be able to say thank you for a great review but at the end of an exhausting season it is even better. Many thanks and all good wishes.

I stayed here for a week, the location is very convenient with the town center and promenade only being a 5-minute walk, and there's a range of food places to go with it. The host was warm, kind and welcoming and extremely helpful! The room was clean and cosy with pretty decor, it was lovely to get a view of the tower from my room window at night time. Not bad at all!!
Would definitely stay here again. It's a 5 star from me, as far as B&Bs go.

We stayed at the Tower View for a few days and we would recommend it to anyone passing by Blackpool. Excellent and warm hospitality by the staff and great view of the tower. Cosy and very central, it was just what we needed for a short break.

I stayed here with my partner of 11 years. When we arrived at check in we were told we couldn't have a king room because we were not married and were given a twin room instead. The whole place is very old fashioned from the decor to the owners attitudes. I gave them a trophy I won playing mini golf in Blackpool as a joke and they threw it in the bin! There were no towels on the end of bed on arrival, something that any standard b&b does. The hangers in the wardrobe were cheap plastic ones, I prefer the soft quilted kind. If the b&b was cheaper I wouldn't have expected such high quality but the price didn't reflect the service! Would I stay here again? No!

this is the kind of review I hate doing, but the point of trip advisor is to give an honest and unbiased review even though you have really liked the host/ess. The owners were really good however the area (which cannot be changed) was poor. Lots of drunks and random people who seemed down at heel. Would not have walked into town from here. Dining room extremely cold, room cold and radiators unresponsive even after one hour at full. Breakfast standard and ordinary brought after cereals with no orders taken/ choices, white toast even if you did not want it, no breakfast menu or choices or veggie options. Served by an extremely tired and grumpy owner. Don't shoot the messanger

I can see from your other TripAdvisor reviews that you like everything to be perfect when you travel. I understand that but I would politely ask you to consider that to a large extent you get what you pay for. Perhaps on another visit to Blackpool you might prefer to stay at the Best Western as I see you liked the one in Plymouth, of course that will cost considerably more than staying here. We didn't have the central heating on much in September as it was very warm. I am sorry you didn't find it so. I do not recollect you telling me that you were cold, if you had I would have put a fan heater in your room to provide a source of heat apart from the central heating, which was off as I said. We do not take orders for breakfast as such because we charge only £4.00 for a standard cooked breakfast along with cereals, tea/coffee, juice, toast and preserves which we believe represents outstanding value for money but we still use top class ingredients including free range eggs, thick cut bacon and quality beans. The budget doesn't run to adding anything more to the standard egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown and baked beans that we serve. Most people are very happy with the breakfast here so again, I am sorry it doesn't suit you. I have to say I am often puzzled as to why so many visitors to this town expect everything to be dirt cheap. Apart from property values we pay the same for everything here as in other parts of the country. Anyway, if the man serving your food appeared grumpy it will be because of tiredness and I apologise for that as well. We have had a very busy season and he does music gigs as well some evenings and is not as young as he once was. Unfortunately a second income is necessary, although one works hard in a small hotel it is impossible to live to any standard on that income alone. Please read my other responses on here about the area. On the one hand most people staying in Blackpool want to park up and then walk to all of the attractions. This is fine, we are only about a 5 minute walk from everything except South Shore and Pleasure Beach. However, this does mean we are very close to town and all that represents. Like all town centres these days there are undesirable elements around especially at weekends and quite frankly when you think of how close we are to Blackpool's night life we get very little noise outside of our building. People should take into account that clearly we cannot guarantee silence like you'd get out in the suburbs. In a nutshell, you wouldn't go to Butlin's for a quiet holiday. Equally, you ought not to stay anywhere near the centre of Blackpool, or any other large town for that matter, if you want complete peace and no sign of drunks or vagrants. It's rather a different place during the week but almost everyone wants to come here at the weekend. No big town shows it's best side on a Friday or Saturday night, and that's a fact.

Well where do I start..... The greeting wasn't very welcoming, the smell when went to door hit you, smelt if damp and dogs, the place didn't look very clean unlike pictures, it was cold the beds felt damp no heating on, the bathrooms looked dirty and unclean, the attitude of the owners where horrible when we said it isn't what we want and sarcastic

These people didn't even stay here so how can they possibly state that the beds are damp, which they absolutely are not. What this person has said is completely untrue. One of the men of 2 couples booked 2 rooms here and it seems the women thought they should be staying somewhere more upmarket. They had a quick look and then verbally insulted us and our hotel. How are we supposed to react to that? It was upsetting. Then they left. We are a small hotel/guest house not a 5 star hotel and we don't charge 5* prices either but Tower View does not smell and it is clean! Clearly some people should book a large impersonal hotel in the first place and accept the high cost. Thank goodness we have very many lovely guests who appreciate the hard work we put into this business and the value for money we strive to provide.

We booked 2 rooms at this guest house,£70 per room for 1 nights stay, the bathroom was small and the sink looked like it had come out of a caravan, very small and the glass shelf above it restricted your access to getting your face in the sink. Looked behind the curtains and the plastic frame on the windows was black, never been cleaned in months. Only good thing was we had a good sleep as the bed was comfortable. One last point to add,,No breakfast for £70 @ night I think it a bit steep.

I stayed for four days August 2016. The rooms are very clean, manager is very friendly, as a first timer to visit Blackpool the manager was so helpful to guide me for where to go, on top of that the location of the hotel is near to the town center right opposite to the wonderful Blackpool tower and you can enjoy viewing Blackpool tower without the any hindrance.
