What a unique getaway, to stay in something so quirky has been an unforgettable experience.
I've never seen anything like it, we stayed in the helicopter with what seemed like all of it's instruments and gauges still fitted, working interior lights, and a fascinating view in to the tail from the cockpit.
The adjoining awning gives great additional space and privacy, along with the wood burning hot tub and outside lights makes it magical.
The location is quiet and peaceful, and the homemade pizzas you can order on site and made on site are delicious.
We would not hesitate to recommend or visit again.

Probably the best nights sleep I've ever had whilst camping/glamping. Slept like a log! The site is very well maintained and the attention to detail is brilliant 🤩. Loved the chickens and emus. The chickens are quiet and didn't wake us. They make cute neighbors when staying in the lynx. The welcome messages are detailed and make arrival to the site easy to navigate to and enter. We were greeted on arrival with a welcoming smile and given a tour of our cozy home for the night.
The lynx is great. Plenty of room for the two of us. The hot tub is located behind the lynx so you can change/get in and out etc in complete privacy. The temp was perfect to get straight in when we arrived and stayed hot enough to get back in after we went for tea in the local pub. We've had a lovely evening. Would definitely come again to try the other themed glamping facilities. The school bus looks fantastic! Thanks for a lovely experience 👍🏻

Me and my partner had the greatest 2 nights at Manor House clamping. We stayed in the helicopter on our first night and the airstream on our second night. They were both very well put together and comfortable. We also loved the privacy of the hot tubs which were warm for hours. We had a barbecue each night and all utensils that we needed were included. Jonathan was very helpful throughout our visit, such as when we couldn’t start a fire in the barbecue and he happily answered my texts and calls with any questions prior to our visit, he also ensured that the airstream was cleaned first in the morning, so we could move our belongings into it as soon as possible after staying in the helicopter. My favourite part of our visit were the chickens which walked around the site and always made us laugh. We will definitely visit here again.

If you love a stay in quirky places then this place is absolutely for you !!

If your getaway’s are usually in a hotel, tent, caravan or motorhome then please step outside the norm and give it a go !! Your stay will be so much more interesting and unforgettable which is what we all want for our down time and vacations right ?

We stayed in the American School bus which has been converted into the most funky and tastefully decked out accommodation. It was very comfortable and had everything you need.

The hosts are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Toilets and shower are spotlessly clean. Proper barista coffee is made and brought to you on each morning of your stay. Freshly made sourdough pizza’s are also made on Friday and Saturday evenings. They were absolutely amazing. I can honestly say it’s the first time I have eaten a pizza in it’s entirety in one sitting!

As busy as the owners are they are happy to stop for a chat. Johnathan is passionate in his vision and it’s interesting to know how he has restored and created these amazing accommodations himself.
Aside the school bus there is a rare VW Westfalia Split Screen Camper Van, a 1956 Green Goddess Fire Engine,
a 1957 Airstream and a Royal Navy Lynx HMA MK8 Helicopter not to mention the best looking chickens ( silkies) that roam the site and if you stay in the American School Bus you will be greeted by Mike & Alice the Emu’s who reside in the field behind.

All accommodations come with wood fired hot tubs which are also a great addition to your stay.

We were so lucky with the weather whilst we were here that we were able to make full use of our Glamping experience. There is nothing nicer than being happy and comfortable where you are staying. Having your first coffee of the day brought to you. Cooking and eating outside, enjoying evenings in the hot tub, and drinking a nice cold glass of something around the fire pit, absolute bliss.

Our stay at Manor House glamping was so pleasantly surprising as it was a last minute booking!

We stayed in the converted fire engine and I will say we had one of the nicest glamping experiences to date!

The owner was really friendly and accommodating, the site was very easy to navigate to and we was given plenty of information on arrival which is always a bonus.
Blackpool centre is only a 15 minute car journey so there is lots to do in the surrounding areas, also a pub 15 minutes down the road on foot which is even more of a bonus.

The hot tub is log fired and takes a few hours to heat up which is perfect once you get in, we enjoyed the hot tub along side a home made wood fired pizza straight from the owners themselves which tasted unbelievable.

You really get the feel that the owners have put every thought into setting up this site, everything from the cleanliness of the site down to the complimentary coffee in a morning, it’s been pure bliss!

My only negative comment is that we should have stayed longer than one night, will 100% be returning for a longer trip in the future, proper hidden gem!

I surprised my girlfriend with 1 nights stay in the American school bus.

All the information sent prior to arrival was alot of help and made it easier to know what to bring and what not.

We were actually amazed at how the inside of the bus was renovated and how there was so much attention to detail.

Suggestions for food is to eat from their own pizzeria as the pizzas are unreal. The desert pizzas for us were even better and we were made up with these.

Jonathan was very welcoming and friendly, he took time to give me some background on where the site started which I really appreciated.

We really liked how close we were to Mick and Alice the Emu's, it made the stay feel even more unique than it was. Its also not everyday you're sat in a hot tub and fluffy chickens are walking by.

We will be back for more stays, especially when the Mrs saw the plane cockpit.

2nd visit in 3 weeks. First visit was to the lovely Edith Campervan, this time we opted for the classic AirStream. Surprisingly spacious inside and kitted out lovely.

This place is a real hidden gem. Peaceful, tranquil, and very relaxing with a wood burner hot tub also outside which allows you to soak and search the stars on a clear night.

We popped over to say hello to the in-house emu and chickens this time round which are housed in a beautifully manicured part of the plot.

The pizza is deliciously homemade and the cheeseboard is one of the best we’ve had, a must for all visitors! The hosts have built a real gem of a place here!!

The landscaping and layout is wonderful, we will be back to sample another of the character glamping pods soon!!

We loved everything about Edith the vw camper! Unfortunately the good old English weather sent us rain and thunderstorms for our night away but it did not spoil our experience as the camper, hot tub and beautiful seating area is all undercover in a beautiful ti pi which is completely weather proof. I might even be tempted to come back again the winter. Manor House Glamping exceed our expectations, it is a beautiful peaceful place and very unique. The freindly owners go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. The showers and toilets are lovely and clean, there is a camping stove and kettle and cutlery, plates and bowls and a cool box with complimentary water provided for your stay. We opted to order Pizza which was delivered to our Glapping pod and was delicious. Would highly recommend and I'm sure we will be back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Recently stayed in the helicopter.
What an experience.
Upon opening the main gates and entering into the campsite you could tell it was well thought out and planned. It was so clean, tidy...immaculate even.
The owners were very welcoming, friendly and informative. The reception was cosy and smelt of delicious coffee.
The shower /toilet area was spotless and had everything you needed.
The helicopter was fantastic. From the outside living BBQ area, the wood fired hot tub into the helicopter itself, it was superb.
The hot tub was very private and secluded. It was lovely to relax in with a drink.
The helicopter was spotless, the bed was comfortable and clean. There was even a little tv to watch Netflix on.
It was so relaxing to sit and watch the friendly chickens and the emu's wonder around next to you.
This was a surreal and unique honeymoon experience and something we would do again. I think the school bus could be calling us back...
Please come to Manor House Glamping. It is a perfect, unique experience and something not to be missed. 10/10 perfection.
