We booked this stay last minute to visit over the bank holiday, it was a lovely hotel staff all very friendly and helpful, thoroughly enjoyed it, restaurant food very nice for an evening meal and the breakfast was great too. It is right next to the pleasure beach so I'm presuming it may be a little noisier in height of...

This is a great hotel if you are visiting the amusement park. We were upgraded for free and our room overlooked the park which filled my partner with delight! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was good value and the breakfast was very good.

Our kids, aged 6 & 8, loved the little bunk bed alcove with TVs in the wall. Crazy view out the window of roller coaster going past, and substantial breakfast in the morning. Perfect for family trip. Much nicer inside than you might expect for Blackpool. Good service.

We stayed here this bank holiday weekend with my 2 boys aged 14 and 6. I had stayed here when it first opened when my daughter had a gymnastic international against Romania. Then, I didn't choose the hotel myself but was impressed with the rooms and the decor. The food in the restaurant was great and I vowed to return...

We got a great 1 night deal on a Sunday night. We had a family room which was ideal as our little boy had his own bunkbed in a little annexe (although I couldnt figure out how his little TV worked) and our room looked over the rollercoaster in the Pleasure Beach which were great to watch as it was...

Stayed mid-May 2015 and had a great time. The hotel in general is clean, well presented and the staff are very helpful. We had a King Suite which was very luxurious and spacious. The view of the Pleasure Beach was amazing. Breakfast & meals in the restaurant were great and too. Recommended.

The Big Blue is situated on the edge of the Pleasure Beach to the south of Blackpool, but with excellent links to it by tram or bus, both stopping a minute's walk away. The hotel itself is clearly very much for families during school holidays, but at other time (we stayed Sunday to Thursday during term time) it's perfect for...
