The hotel is very average, clean but was no heating in the room so at night it was cold, the breakfast in the morning was just terrible, we were offered no toast, and when our full English breakfasts came it had no mushrooms and 1 had no black pudding, it was all just all over the place. We came down at 8.35am and was still waiting for toast at 9.31am. We did ask a few times about it but never came so we just left. It's a decent hotel but could be alot better, we paid £5 extra each for breakfast and £2.50 for my son but it just wasn't worth it at all. Don't think we would stay again. I asked when the bar was open and was told of its worth opening up they would buyt not for 2 people, but then I saw 2 lads drinking a pint in there when we got back from the shop. Shame though as it has alot of potential.

Did the job for a night whilst in Blackpool, we parked on the car park and went to the beach for the day. We checked in around 4pm. We had a family room on top floor with sea view and it was basic but everything we needed ( 1 double bed , 2 single beds). The beds were comfortable , clean bedding with plenty of clean towels. The room was clean although decor is dated. There was an en suite with shower , sink and toilet. The room had clothes storage, a kettle with tea and coffee and a small tv. It had a large low windowsill perfect for children to watch the trams go past. The only issue was the grid parking out front, if you want to leave in the morning then it’s best not to park on the car park as you might not be able to get out when you want to. I would stay here again , the location is good. We didn’t try the food or drinks so can’t comment on those. The staff were helpful and friendly.

I arrived at this hotel with an open mind, the rooms and hotel itself definitely needs updating massively, wall paint flaking off, shower not properly working and they definitely need alot more staff. There's only enough parking spaces for around 12 cars which is a nightmare but if you arrive early enough you can grab one at £10 per car. The guy on the reception wasn't in the best of moods when we arrived, speaking like s**t to some of my group apparently now me, I had no problems with him, he was friendly and helpful.

The hotel itself was absolutely spotless in the cleaning side, the beds and pillows were comfy and my room got upgraded to a sea view which was lovely aswell.

All I can say is, yeah it's a very dated hotel which needs a massive refurbishment but hopefully that will soon come when it's proper up and running.

Go to this hotel if you're just looking for a base basically to just sleep in it and you'll love it.

I don't normally write reviews but feel I really need to with this hotel.
We were a party of 2 families, with teenage children, both families feel the same way!
Firstly the good : Great location on the front. Check in was quick and easy.
The Bad : Where to start:
We booked 2 family rooms - double bed and 2 single beds, crammed into a double room. Room wasn't clean, carpets, surfaces weren't particularly clean and the bathroom definitely needed cleaning correctly. The curtains were hanging off so no way we could close them, the bed sheets had marks on them so much so that our teenager refused to sleep inside and slept on top of the bed.
The tiles on the bathroom ceiling weren't fixed properly and overall the room, is old, dated, dirty and needs tidying up.
Went out and got back around 10pm, they were still serving in the bar so we stopped and had a drink, my teenagers stayed to play pool when we went to bed, however the staff are relatively young there and stayed up partying until 1.30 in the morning, I was on the 2nd floor and it was very noisy, you expect noise from other guests but really the staff?? complete disregard for their guests.
Breakfast was between 8.30 -9.30, we had booked the pleasure beach so wanted to get down there early, arrived at 8.30, nobody to be seen, waiting 15 minutes for someone to eventually come and let us in to the breakfast area, no tables set for breakfast, staff didn't turn up ( not surprised due the the partying the night before).
A young lad was on his first breakfast shift, I felt sorry for him however didn't have a clue what he was doing, what was available or not. Took 20 minutes to get a drink and some warm bread, only jam and butter nothing else available. Had to ask for everything , cereal for the children, coco pops or cornflakes. no fresh juice or fruit. Evenutally took our order to be told we can't have poached eggs etc, its a standard breakfast. Breakfast was just terrible, barely edible and most of us left it.
We just wanted out of there, we packed up and left.
If you are still considering this hotel all I will say is, take cleaning wipes, don't stay for breakfast and take earplugs, overall this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and will not be recommending it to anyone EVER!

We booked a triple sea view room for a one night stay to see the illuminations. The booking was easy, communication was good prior to our stay, on arriving there is free parking, the location is great with great views and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this is where the positives ended for us. The rooms are dated but this in itself wasn’t a problem as we expected this like most English seafront hotels. The room hadn’t been hoovered and there was tea stain rings on the tea tray, overall it was a bit grubby. The sheets and towels I think were clean but were stained so didn’t feel nice to use. To share the double bed was like sleeping on a bouncy castle. Every time one of us moved the other was left bouncing away. The mattresses were very soft and uncomfortable and desperately need replacing. We barely slept all night and we’re glad we were only there for one night. It’s a shame as these things could easily be rectified which would make this a good hotel due to its location and friendly staff.

The rooms were absolutely disgusting! And i say that very strongly!! Shower didnt work so got moved rooms to one with a working shower but only cold water came out of it. Spoke to other residents and they said it was the same in their room. Toilets were disgusting! The bed is honestly the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept on in my life. The place needs a major deep clean! Windows were broken so couldnt even close them. Both me and my daughter were freezing all night. Cupboards in both rooms i was in were covered in dampness and mould. Could only get wifi in the room if you were standing in the bathroom which is nearly impossible as they are that small. The whole hotel itself is very outdated and absolutely filthy. I would strongly advise you avoid staying in this hotel!

Room had a musty smell wallpaper peeling off wall , light above bed didn’t work , radiator not working, window not close properly very drafty , room was that cold had to leave our coats on , bedding was dirty when I took quilt out of cover noticed ripped bottom sheet , stains on quilt it self also quilt was ripped & looked like 2 had been sown together . The toilet had a horrendous noise when ever we or anyone in our block flushed so was woken up multiple times during night .We went down to talk to the manager to tell him about all the problems he just shrugged his shoulders and said he already knew about the toilet and heating there was nothing he could do , when asked to be moved he said he didn’t have the authority to do that . So told him I wasn’t paying full price , he just laughed at me so said i wanted to put a complaint In to be told I had to go through Booking.com nothing to do with him he just ran the place . His attitude towards customers was horrible the place was like something from faulty towers , stains on the wallpaper going upstairs , we booked that hotel as they advertised breakfast at a cost and the price for the room was £70 for 1 night . What we got was an what we expected and they didn’t even have a chef to do food so had to go else where for breakfast
Please see pictures and video of our room

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!! This hotel is gross! The man on reception seemed very nice and friendly on our welcome, that’s the only positive I have. The whole of the hotel smells old and dirty, and all very outdated. Once we got to the room it was shocking, the floor looks as though it hasn’t been hoovered in months, lights broken, plaster falling off the walls, mould growing in the sink. There was rubbish left just under the bed from other guests. Not one bit of cleaning went into that room before our arrival. When trying to sleep it was near impossible since the place was so cold, we were told the heating comes on in the morning and in the evening. However it felt as if the heating never came on. We had to wear 2 layers to bed just to stay slightly warmer. The next night we requested an extra duvet for warmth. The walls were full of damp, and leaks were visible all throughout the hotel. Our checkout time was 10am… at 10.03am we had received a message we needed to be out as they had housekeeping booked. What a joke! That place had never seen house keeping. Please no one waste your money on this place 😭

I'm not a complaining person but I just had to review this place because it is terrible. Also to point out I didn't book this hotel so I'm gaining my information from hotel pages after the booking, I didn't read the information about the hotel before going to it.

There was 5 of us in the group and we booked a double and a triple room. Our first room had the door left open as we walked up to it which was a good start. It turns out that room had 3 singles and a double bed so we could have actually just used that room for our one night stay. The double room which I stayed in looked basic but for the price it was fair enough, I've stayed in another couple of cheap, basic places in Blackpool and they've been decent.

Give it a few seconds and you'll realise the place is a dump. Everything feels like if you use slightly too much force on it it'll fall apart. Our room door handle was loose, toilet flusher loose, top of the lamp hanging off, bug in the bed, poor mattresses, leaking shower head etc. Outside the rooms the walls look very damp, lift doesn't work, it just looks really bad.

Best of all their isn't hot water and heating. Apparently hot water and heating are only on at certain times, from what I can see this is not advertised and was on a bit of paper at reception. The thing is their wasn't either of these the whole stay, plus our electric heater couldn't be turned on either as it had a missing dial. The receptionist who seemed decent looked like he had heard all of this before and this is a common occurance as he was running around trying to sort it. We didn't get showers before going out, this would have been more of an issue if we were staying 2 nights (I'm so glad we didn't) because that would have been unacceptable.

Also parking costs £10 a day, apparently this wasn't advertised and other reviews say this, but I can see this is on the booking.com page so I'd guess that's recently been updated after false advertising. The parking is a faff on, all cars parked very close together, right infront of the hotel so even walking into the hotel is difficult without scratching cars. The hotel also has a bar, we didn't go there as based on everything else they'd sell flat pints.

Overall this place is run down, dirty and a general mess. It is cheap and usually for 1 night I'd say all you need is a bed to sleep in but I would recommend that noone stays here, they need to sort their act out and actually make the hotel acceptable to stay in.

This hotel is the worst I have stayed in Blackpool, me and my partner was the lucky ones, in our room apart from a cracked cistern, no hot water and dirty carpets it was just about ok. Friends who we went with had 1 dingy light working out of 4, no hot water and the toilet wasnt working, so they had to go downstairs to use the toilet. One couple was there took one look at their room and asked for a refund because their room had not even been cleaned. They dont do food there, so why are they showing pictures of meals, liars . Give this hotel a MISS, the mangement are totally unorganised

There should be...but they do tend to go walkabouts (like towels). We do usually have one or two downstairs if the staff havn't noticed they are missing. But bring your own by all means just in case we havn't.
