Stayed in a family suite 2 adults 2 twelve year old boys. Room was nice and clean freshly decorated I’d say, my Mother stayed in her own room and apart from problems with her tv no complaints. We’ve been coming for years and never had a bad meal and I’d say the food was brilliant. The entertainment unfortunately suffers from a lack of atmosphere due to most people retiring after bingo, some decent singers having to self solve soundtrack problems due to acts on simultaneous performances in the cafe bar, time to drop that now I’d say. The best thing about the cliffs is the staff and all we’re excellent, special mention to Patrick a lovely young man who served us all holiday, happy 18th for this week and thanks for your services. The boys enjoyed the swimming and games den also, see you soon.

Stayed at the Cliffs Hotel 18th to 23rd July Had a family room on the second floor, next time will book an upgraded room All the staff from check in at reception to the bar and restaurant were great as well as the people at the swimming pool Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, plenty choice plenty of food Really enjoyed the evening meal, self service starter and dessert with table service for main course. Very pleased with the choices and quality of the food With bus and tram stops just in front of the hotel it is in an ideal location When coming back to Blackpool I'll be booking The Cliffs Hotel I've given it 4 stars only because of standard room, next time if I get an upgraded room it will be 5 stars Entertainment at night was good but just a wee bit slow to get started But had a great stay at this hotel

One member of staff argues with customers. If you've paid for half board you at least expect to be able to eat. Other than that it was okay. There was a nice pool area and kids club. Booze was a ripoff and I doubt I'll be back. I've stayed in worse looking hotels and had better food. We don't want some experimental food, we would have been happy with standard pie and chips or something. Too much effort is made at dinner for the finished product. Make the buffet bigger and get rid of the need to order. It would be better. They did say I could order off the kids menu but that's not the point. It's the first time I've experienced this at an hotel. I couldn't get my head around the buffet either. In England youd expect chips to be there lol never had that issue in spain.

We were disappointed with lumpy beds, slow service at breakfast, chipped/dirty crockery. Was assured we would get a discount for this poor service, but this has not happened. My advice - stay somewhere else.

This was our first weekend away without the children since lockdown. We love the location as it is away from the central madness but trams stop outside to get there if you want to. The hotel is quite nice. You can tell it used to be very grand in it's day and a lot of it still is. Very large dining room. The service was ok considering the hotel was full and the breakfast was very good although I missed a few mushrooms on there!. The cafe bar was very pleasant. Had a lovely cold beer . Didn't tap into the evening entertainment as the casino is nearby ! The disappointment was the room. ...dated wooden furniture a mini TV . Our curtain was hanging off at one side and the bed was a small double. ..a very small double!....they could fit a bigger bed in the room although it was smallish. ...lovely clean bedding though!..the bathroom was clean but dated. I think we got the last room in the hotel as it was very busy. All in all I would definitely go back but book earlier to get a better room.
