We stayed at Alfies in December 2016. Really nice, friendly welcome and fantastic breakfast. Nothing was to much trouble. Rooms very spacious and very clean. Good location, 5 mins walk to main promenade and great pub at end of road.

Office style panelled ceiling with panels missing and wires showing, dirty tired looking decor. We didn't even want to stay overnight it was that bad. Waste of money. Only good point was very friendly staff who did their best to make us comfy.

Four of us stayed at Alfies B&B this weekend for Halloween, although we arrived late in the evening the owners were very welcoming and showed us to a room almost straight away. The room was cosy and clean which made our stay more enjoyable. We also stayed here Halloween 2015 & had the same experience. Overall great hotel with lovely...

Very friendly staff, rooms were clean and tidy. But do need a little T.L.C throughout hotel. Evening meal and breakfast very good. The hotel does parking at rear but only two to three cars would fit. Hotel is a two minutes walk to the Pleasure Beach. Will return to this guest house. Recommend to couples and family's for cheap and...

We went for one night with a wowcher deal and to see the illuminations being switched on. I had read the reviews for this hotel on here and was quite worried. I was very pleasantly surprised, our room was lovely and clean the staff were nice and friendly, especially Sue.

Thanks for this review. We try to satisfy guests to the best of our abilities, Unfortunately we cannot satisfy all guests to their standards therefore some reviews are off putting, as a rule of thumb i tend to check points made by these guests asap. Many are trivial to say the least & many are never brought to our attention during...

Average hotel. Broken toilet seat. Small shower cubicle and window wouldn't shut but was fine as was very warm. Think the hotel could do with some tlc. Had a leak in the bar area. Breakfast was great and very accommodating but server was quite grumpy. Would return if updated.

2 night dinner bed and breakfast with a bottle of wine each evening for 89 pounds. The hospitality was excellent and the food good and plentiful. The rooms was very basic and could do with a little talc but nothing to complain about considering the price.

We were warmly welcomed as we entered and our twin bedroom was beautifully decorated with a double bed too! Dinner was a three course meal each evening and always something we all liked and enjoyed. Whenever we wanted something there was a friendly face at hand. The location is very ideal and would return there again.

This hotel was clean and the staff were helpful but always seemed busy. The room was adequate but no plug in sink and no tv remote in room. Plug replaced when asked but not TV remote. This is a budget very basic hotel so for this it was a good offer. Breakfast was adequate, and plenty of cereals fresh fruit...

As explained we thought the remote may have been sent to the laundry in error this proved to be the case & is now back in the room. Thanks for the review & your honesty.
