This is the second stay we've had at Arlingtons. The owners, Graham and Richard, couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable and easy. They are the most friendliest we have had the pleasure of meeting, during our years of going to Blackpool. Breakfast was provided for us earlier due to dance competitions starting early, which proved no trouble at all. We were offered to collect our bags a little later than usual due to the time we were going to be leaving the Winter gardens. The rooms we had were warm and comfortable and were very clean, any teas or coffee and towels that were used were replenished. This little nook of a hotel was close to all amenities such as Blackpool tower, Winter gardens etc. A public car park is also situated within walking distance.
Although I would highly suggest booking directly with the hotel due to a saving for yourself.
Our experiences with Arlingtons has been great and we would definitely be staying again.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay with Graham and Richard. The hotel is cosy and my room was really nice. I had a single room which was of a good size and contained everything I needed, there was even a hairdryer which I didn’t expect. Everything was spotlessly clean which is a very big thing for me as I have an autoimmune disease so pick up everything so cleanliness is a must for me at any hotel stay. I am a regular visitor to Blackpool and have stayed in several hotels, all much more expensive than this one yet not as good. I will certainly be returning as a regular visitor. Richard and Graham couldn’t do enough for me, breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room was clean and well maintained. Every morning beds are made and towels changed if required, there was ample tea and coffee supplies and even biscuits which I enjoyed. The location of the hotel was fantastic for anyone, wanting to visit the tower etc although I go to visit friends who live there, so location wasn’t so important for me. I look forward to returning!

Arlingtons is such a good find. It is a basic bed and breakfast but does what it does extremely well. The rooms are ensuite with views on the Tower, the ones we had were clean with comfortable beds and quality linen. Thete are tea and coffee making facilities in your room with delicious biscuits replaced every day. Breakfast is optional and cost us an extra £5 which was great value and excellent quality. The owners are very personable and helpful, they really do want to give each guest a good experience. The location is perfect, just behind the Winter Gardens and close to everything. Book it, for the price you won't find better.

Ideal Location near the Winter Gardens ( Where my daughter was dancing). Close to shops, restaurants and seafront. Owners were great allowing us to choose our own breakfast time, room was clean with a great view of the tower, particularly at night when it was lit up.
Will definitely rebook.

Visited on a regular basis. Great value, proprietors are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Right in the heart of Blackpool. (Can see the tower, from bedroom windows !) Breakfast is a serve yourself buffet service and a good selection of cooked breakfast options. Rooms very clean and tidy. We'll worth visiting !

Greeted by Graham & Richard who immediately started arguing & shouting at each other which continued our entire stay .
The smell of stale cigarette smoke hits you as you walk in . The room very small , shower awful, far too small. Toilet too close to a facing wall you had to step over it & squeeze yourself in & down , leaking tap in room obviously been leaking a while as water stains all over sink.
Sour milk in room on complimentary tray on arrival , we asked for a replacement it came 26 hours later .
Breakfast was horrible cooked in same room as you eat in so smells like a greasy transport cafe, on second morning the hash browns were handled by hand into trays after wiping the the sweat from the brow with the same hand , no eggs or beans by the time they came the rest was cold , horrible hard sausages way over cooked .
Avoid this place seriously it’s the worst experience of a Blackpool b&b I’ve ever had. Not even a chair in our room or dressing table. It was awful. & should be closed in its present state.
Attend this place at your peril awful awful awful.

How strange, You wait till you get home & then you unleash your fury. Why I don't know! You obviously have problems with reality & fantasy. Let me take your points 1 by 1. We are a no smoking hotel, but guests can smoke outside & a few staying at the same time as yourselves did smoke outside. Obviously when they come back in some smoke can waft in & this is what you smelt. We don't shout constantly at each other, but we can get a bit snappy! Your room is massive, It's a Triple room with 3 single beds & 2 wardrobes! Toilet is fine, there is adequate room. How was the breakfast horrible? we don't understand this? Open plan cooking & eating is happening in a lot of places now, guests like it as they can see how their food is cooked. As to the food handling after mopping my brow, on EVERY occasion this happens I sanitize my hands with the alcohol gel that is on the counter...EVERY time. We have mirror in the bathroom & in the bedroom, no not a dressing table with mirror. You say there was no milk in your room, we provide UHT milk portions as do most hotels, you say these were sour? Yes your wife asked for some milk one afternoon & she said she was downstairs, so I came up to give her some fresh milk & she was nowhere to be seen. Alas her English is not too good, so she didn't understand my reply. There are no leaking taps or shower in your room! Shower is of usual size & would have accommodated you FINE. There are chairs in every room including yours The TV is in the centre of room & is easily visible We don't rush breakfast, but we have to accommodate everyone, your sitting was at 8am & we need to relay tables for the 9am sitting, After all you were finished eating & just chatting. 50 minutes is enough time for breakfast. You say lounge smells of stale takeaway food, the only 'food' consumed in the ground floor lounge was guests personal alcohol! Surprising you only mentioned your complaints after you had departed? ! We are both glad you won't be back, perhaps pay a lot more & stay in a 5 star hotel that will cater for your exacting needs.

Hotel is approx 10 - 15 mins stroll from Blackpool North Railway Station.
One host was there to welcome me & help with my luggage as soon as I got to the door.
My room was on the third floor but if you need a room on a lower floor, please state this when booking.
They offer breakfast.
Stairs and corridors were spotless.
Room was always warm, bathroom was clean, shower was as hot as you want it and location was on the same road as the Winter Gardens.
Hosts were fantastic.

The proprietors are friendly and accommodating to your needs, nothing seems to be too much trouble. We visited in a heatwave and unfortunately our double rooms were very very hot but fans were provided as soon as we checked in, there are no lifts in the property and the stairwells are quite narrow so if you have any mobility issues I would request lower ground floor rooms. The dining area is very small and really too hot which is my only reason for the drop in star as we struggled to eat in the heat so only had breakfast on the first day. If we needed anything a quick message to Graham sorted it out including storing cases etc. The location is perfect for the winter gardens and the north pier and just a short walk to other attractions.
