I stayed at the Metropole with my 5 year old son. The room was clean apart from the windows they were rotten. The inside of the bedside lampshade was broken and the TV was very old with just the bog standard channels which if you have children with you is not much good. They charge you 50p every time you...

Stayed 1 night, and that was enough, the hotel is in need of updating, our room had no towels, the bathroom window was held together with gaffer tape ,the hallways smelt of sewers, you will find threadbare carpets, and plaster falling of walls,we found the food OK, but we will not be recommending this hotel to anyone

I Love staying in Brittania Hotels and yes some of them are OLD PROPERTIES, but we know this. The staff have to work with what they have. The Metropole in Blackpool has a great team of staff who are nice and friendly, the room we had was an executive room I was very impressed with the Jacuzzi Bath (very unexpected...

Bedrooms vintage but some have jacuzzi bath even the cheaper ground floor rooms . You spend most of time out so...

Even if they are going to ask me to stay for free or even to pay me to stay I will not. The place stinks and the standards are terrible. Told the room is for non smokers but still stinks of cigars big time.
