I have stayed at the Metropole many times over the past 15 years. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I have got to know quite a few of them. They have specialist weekends most of the time, e.g. Billy Fury Tribute Weekends twice a year, which I have attended several

We have been going there for the last 10 years every September and we have been lucky, never ever had a problem there. It is what it is, a budget hotel, but excellent value and blinding location, all the food you can eat and only £3 a day car park. Can’t go wrong.
